I started college in civil engineering... but didn't like it so I switched to business.

Engineering classes were full of dorks. (no offense, I don't mean ALL engineers are dorks)

Dude, you just shot yourself in the foot there - you shop at Banana, read CS Lewis and like to cook - if you were an engineer, I'd be all over that

Well, I do those thing and I AM an engineer.  But I have already bagged my allowable quota for hot dancers.  Sorry - maybe next season....

Spokes - 2008-07-16 5:21 PM Geez... I go to spend the day with my children and you people get the old thread pulled... without my help.

Did you have a fun day with the children?

Yes, we had fun... went to the zoo, but it started piddling rain... they were getting bored, so we actually ran by the airport gift shop and picked up tshirts, and then stopped by the State Capitol building and took a ton of pictures, Davis kept saying "This building is going to collapse in 10 seconds!" He can be very silly.

Sounds like a good time.  My niece is very silly, I think it's how she combats the extreme seriousness of her older brother.

Btw, I saw four fixies today.  I'm not sure if they've always been there and I'm just now noticing or if they're just in vogue.

Dude, if I didn't have TQG/TB, I'd be hitting you up for your wife's single hot dancer friends. BELIEVE me, I would.

And boy are they hot - it gets rough some times....

Can you get to this?

I just started a Myspace account, god forbid.  I can't STAND myspace, but I wanted to play some friends in poker so I had to.  My wife got carried away and started putting up all kinds of photos and messing with my profile... This only tip of the iceberg of pics.  Oh well....

cami bee - 2008-07-16 5:45 PM wurkit_girl, what year did you graduate? Sounds like you're about the same age as I am. I also did my ugrad in New England, though one state over.

2003 from undergrad.

"A lot of people go to college for 7 years"

"Yeah, they're called doctors..."

Nope, only 4, like a normal person

So is it unusual that I went to school in '00, walked in '04, and graduated in '06?

I guess that would depend on how many degrees you received j/k, but I'm curious to know, did you go to a full-time job after you walked in '04?

Yeah, sold cars full time from May 04-May 06 (that was a year too long) and then finished my online courses (a whole 6 credit hours) and got my diploma about 5 months after I left town.  So I think I'm the only person I know who had to move away from college to graduate from it.

Well, that was the point of the link.  I forgot that she keeps her page pretty locked down and only friends can access.  Sorry to mislead anyone.

I would take the link out, but alas, I think the time limit has expired....

Off to bike on the trainer.  I think I'm going to have to push through this one.  Not feeling very motivated...

Don't worry about it, with the way TAN's have been going lately, I'm sure this one will get pulled before the morning.

I'm kinda tipsy - would it be bad if I skipped a trainer ride tonight? I'm racing on Sunday and my week was kinda shot to heck anyway, so I feel like a little bit of rest won't be too bad.

Do the trainer ride and cite yourself for a SUI (Spinning Under the Influence).  Also, make sure to report the crash off the trainer.

Hey kids.

5:30 tennis turned into 3 sets, then Mexican food and a LARGE beer. Finally getting home. THe Meeps was NOT happy, but she got her afternoon/evening walk all the same.

Shocked a few more friends with details of my ongoing divorce that apparently haven't gotten out yet. Got potential hookup details for the next couple weekends too. rofls

Goofing off a little more then off to bed. Wait, isn't it RIOW? I thought so...
