Hey everyone. Haven't fit in a run yet this month as my daughter has come down with strep .

I'm golfing tonight weather permitting and me and a fellow Tri friend plan on running the perimeter of the course afterwards. IF not I plan on running at least 5.5 both Sat and Sun so that will get me back on track.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Big swim day today (total of 4000 yds throughout the day).  Hope to do part of it as an open water swim.  Then tomorrow's my last long bike ride before the half ironman distance on the 13th.

Hope to get my last long run before the event on Saturday morning, so probably won't be logging running until Saturday night.

Happy running all...

Oooooo.... look at all those things he has around his neck, too. When I graduated high school, getting tassley things to wear with your robe meant you did extra well! What do his signify?

Congrats to both of you!!

The sash was for being the VP of the Science National Honor Society and the cords were for math honor society and two others that I can't remember right now.

When I graduated HS all we had was an extra gold tassle for honors/regents.

I did a nice run this morning. It was a bit cool, but the humidity was almost thick enough to cut with a knife!

I won't run again until next Wednesday due to an out of town trip over the weekend (Fri-Mon) for a charity ride, but this was accounted for in my goal. As it is I may be looking at increasing my goal later in the month.

Did an unscheduled mile run yesterday in honor of National Running Day. It was the fastest mile I've run 8:17, and it was off the bike

Heh.  Looks like you're on the same schedule I'm on...but probably doing much better at hitting your workouts.

I had to split my swim workout up into different segments today just to get it all in.

Good luck with training and enjoy taper next week.

I'll be doing an HIM the same day...

Suck it up, buttercup!

Seriously, give it a try for 15 - 20 minutes and see how it goes.  If it still sucks, give up early.

Yep what Jen said! If still not feeling it....tough sh*t the plan says run....one must run! no really if you smile while running it is better!Laughing Well how did we do? give you enough motivation?

I went home and went to bed Embarassed  But got up this morning and ran!!
