Sitting here watching MASH right now and I just don't really hear it...

She was blindsided big time.  I don't think she saw it coming at all.  Seem like the those that are left are actually playing and not riding coattails with the exception of the cross country coach guy.  The others seem to be playing to some degree.

The fans seem to like a familiar face.  When the seasons are brand new you never know who you are going to get and it could be a boring bunch but if you return a player, especially one from a medical evac then it seems like a second shot to those that didn't get voted out.

I cheered on my trainer again! :D  I love when the game turns!

The reward challenge was interesting...Abi didn't look very happy about having to sit out!  I wish they would have shown the schoolyard pick though...would be interesting to see how it played out.

Abi is totally missing the social game...she definitely has not figured out that it doesn't matter how strategic you play if you are a jerk to everyone around you they 1. won't be loyal and 2. won't vote for you.  *sigh*

Shortest immunity challenge EVER.  Though it definitely seemed like it was easy once you got the hang of it.  When they first said what they had to do I thought it would take FOREVER.

I honestly thought Lisa would be the one to turn, not Skupin.  She just missed the boat unfortunately.  She'll have to wait for another turning point in the game if she wants to move on.  If I was Penner I would have gone to her with a slightly different argument.  I would have pointed out that The Abi/Pete/Artis trio is too tight to break up so in that alliance she stood no chance of getting to final 3.  But the other alliance is a bit looser at this point with no firm trio emerging so she would have more options to get to the end.  She wouldn't necessarily be bottom of the pecking order with them.

Next week should be interesting.  I think Pete/Abi will be the targets...the worst case scenario will be if Pete wins immunity (because Abi could play the idol).  If neither wins immunity the other alliance will have to split votes in case Abi plays her idol either for herself or Pete.

At this point I think it would be really hard to figure out a final 3, but I'd like to see Penner/Skupin/Lisa...they all have a reason "they shouldn't win" so that would kinda negate that argument if all of them end up in the final 3!  But at the same time I really am cheering for Denise (who is SO under the radar at the moment...her name has never really come up at tribal since that first tribal where she had to go when she first ended up on the red team).  If I had to pick the people I wanted to see in the final I would say Denise, Malcolm, and...the third pick is harder for me...Lisa actually.  I do appreciate that she really tried to play.  But I am not liking her wishy-washiness at the moment!  Lisa's next move has to be to get in with a "new" alliance....she needs to switch sides, vote with the majority on this next round, then pick a final three/four to latch herself to and hope she doesn't end up on the bottom.  She could get a lot of votes that way...she DID show loyalty to team yellow and it's totally justifiable to bail once you are on the losing end...no one can fault you for making that move.

It was a really good episode. I thought the immunity challenge would take forever too, but Skupin crushed it.

OK... I'm really liking Penner. I mean he isn't really doing anything wrong, and he is playing his but off. I mean he has to scramble all the time so he sort of seems like a used car salesman... but he is playing a solid game. If he makes it to final 3, I don't see how he does not win it.

Oh... and keep going through he pit to find all the bags... BRILLIANT.

Lisa... Seriously? She made a good move. It was a nice little intervention with Penner. Hey, some folks have issues... it's cool. But give me a break all ready with the loyalty crap! I mean come on... she is NOT in an alliance with Tandang. PERIOD. She is a vote for Tandang and that is all. My God... they treat you like an idiot. Abi giving her a lecture on her play... Paahhlease.

Not going to waste time on Abi. She has probably assured herself top 3 because nobody will vote for her.

Artis... never saw it coming. I'm sure he just figured the target was still on Pete.

I'm amazed Skupin didn't break something or split something open on the immunity challenge... but Abi tried killing him.

I'm actually a little surprised Artis never saw it coming.  As soon as the red team (Kalabow??) said they were voting Artis because there was a chance Abi could give her idol to Pete I was thinking, "OMG, that is the most obvious move EVER and could totally backfire on you!"  But I guess they kept the wraps on it fairly well.  Of course, HUGE risk telling both Skupin and Lisa (because they HAD to tell them).  If either one decided to stay 100% loyal to Tandang then your whole secret plan of voting Artis would be exposed and Tandang could play the idol for Artis thus ruining the secret plan.  The red team really laid it all out on the line last night...and won.  And this WAS the perfect time to swap alliances.  Any later and it really would have been too late.  Lisa didn't tell Tandang the plan was Artis even if she voted for Penner along with Tandang...which means she went about 50% over to the red side already.  If her loyalty was totally to Tandang she would have told them who was getting voted out so they could do something about it.  So I guess you could say that she really has switched sides too...just not quite as thoroughly as Skupin.

I just got caught up on all the Ponderosa videos, and the one thing I can say about them is this:

Ya, she has no shot at immunity challenges, and she is way too selfish. Pete is on his own. They needed to get rid of Artis and now they can split votes just in case... if Pete does not win immunity.

And other contestants have done that and it is still a stupid vote... you are either FOR your alliance, or you are AGAINST it. An abstention is an AGAINST no matter how you want to slice it.

So she can claim some odd loyalty point that she voted for her alliance, yet she clearly didn't work for her alliance. You're in, or you are out. Skupin seems to get it. He voted with them when he thought it was worth it, but against when it wasn't. And it has been no confusion over the fact they want him gone. The 3 made it pretty clear Lisa is just a vote.

I really do not know where her head is... that 3 was not going to get her to the end.... MAYBE, just maybe, the 3 could have stuck together, and one of the snakes ate one of their own at the end, thinking that person was a bigger threat and wanted to take Lise. Then at final 3 Lisa could possibly win because everyone hated the other two... but that is a lot of hopes, dreams, and ifs... Logically, Lisa has no chance sticking with Tandang 3... which of course better be apparent because it is the Tandang 2

x3, it was pretty hard getting through. I don't know if it is a nervous thing or what... if she was doing that around camp... no wonder they wanted her gone.

I did a search for "people who hate Abi survivor philippines" and her bio came up and she is 32. I was like WTF?

Oh, wow.  The Survivor preview during Amazing Race just said in reference to Abi, "Can they survive the most annoying castaway EVER?"

Wow.  Even the producers/editers realized how annoying she was...so it probably isn't just the edit!

And seriously... that is a some pretty stiff competition for that title... special Agent Philip, Colton and his cohort, the special ed teacher? And that is just recent history. Heck Coach was totally annoying to me.... and really, anyone is going to take the tile from Russel?
