People, please remember that when you go into a major retailer, we have cameras throughout the building and can see everything. And even though you and your girlfriend are madly in love this week, it is never a good idea to act on those feelings in the shoe aisle. You will be seen and asked to leave the building in the most embrassing way I can think of at the time.

UGH!

The worst I ever witnessed was when I worked as a lifeguard at a waterslide park and there was a hot tub on site that held about 300 people or so... yeah, not okay to be having the sexxeh times in the hot tub in the middle of the day!!!

SECURITY!!!

I never understood sexxeh time in public pools... or shoe aisles?

Me neither - gives me the heebie jeebies to just THINK about.

Any luck finding a swim parka??

Not yet. I'm really not wanting to drop $50+ on a new one!

It's Monday!

Had a house party Saturday. Had to start off my week by apologizing to all my good friends about the new friends I invited over... the guy was so drunk he annoyed the h@ll out of everyone and was generally out of control. Then the girl was saying a racial slur and she insulted some of my friends, so I had to send her an email letting her know I wasn't racist and I wasn't OK with her using derogatory racial slurs that start with a "N". To which she replies, "I'm not racist." *rolls eyes* OOOKKKKKK

Fun Monday!

Well she blamed it on Cards Against Humanity saying it is a "racist humor only" card game. Huh? Honestly, I have heard her use the "N" word around me before. It's not the first time. I'm just finally addressing it.

Oh, and another friend of ours had sent me an email over a month ago about her using the "N" word around him too, but he didn't have the b@lls to say anything to her.

I would never think to use ANY form of the "N" word in ANY situation. Seriously. Never. Otherwise she's not a bad person, and I really think she doesn't get it. I pointed out that while she states she isn't a racist, if you use the "N" word people will think you are. Thus, she shouldn't use it.

Her with the racial slur and her boyfriend going insane with drunkenness and annoying all my friends there = me apologizing to people today. Luckily all my friends know that is was a one-off and it won't happen again!

Jonny loved the heels but our friend Denise took them back. Ha!

My bad, I know. I take total blame for not addressing it the first time. I was in her house when it happened and her and her sister said it. I didn't feel comfortable confronting them in that moment. But at least I finally did address it. No I shouldn't have waited, but unfortunately I did. I'm pretty sure other people have never said a word to her, and just stopped being her friend. Let's face it, a lot of people don't like getting confrontational and would rather just remove themselves from the situation vs. addressing it. I tried that route, and it didn't work (DUH!). So I'm trying this route. Yes, it might end our friendship, but that's how it may have to be.

Ha!

I'm really glad you spoke up Karen - sounds like it was something that really needed to be addressed.

Awww - man, makes me sad that Jonny had to give up the strappy shoes!

I have pre-ordered takeout for din-din and am unreasonably excited. Just have to get through spin class first.
