Hmmm, I missed what DQ-able thing TriAya posted... rats.  Mehopes it was news of another Barlo victory in the tour... (I didn't watch last night).

Too bad I had to delete that post--not 'cause of the results lists, but some really cheerful, inspirational text that I forgot to save.

Oh well! C'est le escriture! Just like we're all over the top lists at BT TdF, so are the pro Barloworlders--and like us, with a new, small team.

Here's the midweek update. Happy ridings over the weekend ... just follow Judi!!!

Now you're 10 up, #1, for rides AND smack talk. You earned your braggin' rights!

For the rest of us BarloBOPers ... we got some serious ketchup to do. If you're gonna have fries with that, it better be on a bike

ya know cat, I originally wanted to go higher but backed it down cause I just wasn't sure I could get that much in...now I know there's more time for riding than I used to do so I can only get stronger (doubt it will help much before this next race which has a monster climb at the beginning of the bike leg, rookie girl didn't know a 7% incline was that big when she signed up for this race)

Come on folks, we can do it! I'm gonna double up on rides in a day if I have to. Logging them might be a challenge though, since you can't log two of the same activity in one day. So everyone will just have to trust that I'm keeping the honor system when I eventually combine the ride time and mileage! I'll post the individual stats in the comments section of the blog.

That's OK, when we see you rode 30 minutes in one day,we will know you doubled up

Clearly madcow has wurkit gurl confused with me

What delightful confusion, though! And what an honor! Let's remember that Miss Chrissy is the whole reason why our little team is here ...

My big bike victory for the day is that I let go of the handlebars for a few seconds. Look, Mommy, no hands!!! WOOOO HOOOO! Few weeks ago I could barely let go with one hand.

Lured by 1. my recent biking victories, 2. hot Marines, 3. ... um ... uh, hot Marines:

very cool TriAya! I did my longest ride ever today (1:17.45--16.99 miles average speed 13.24 mph) too bad it no longer counts for the challenge Managed to get my water bottle one handed with minimal wobbling that's one of the things that still wierds me out, my hybrid has such wide tires to hold the road I never worried about that (plus I didn't have to reach around that bar to get the bottle) How's the rest of this team doing on those rides?

Josh 1.0 checking in - had another good long ride (brick) yesterday.  Call it a roller, and my ride this past thursday a mountain.

Congrats to zip for finishing early - to triaya for letting go of the bars (you'll need to be able to raise your arms in victory after we ride across the line together in Paris you know)... and to the rest of the faithful barlo team who keeps ticking away.

Another one in the books! Probably tied for my longest ever. I don't remember how many that is, but I haven't missed one, so its all good. That should leave Thursday's short ride and then the 48 mile (BIG stretch for me) on Saturday the 28th. Maybe I'll sneak in a quick one earlier so my team doesn't have to sweat too much, nah.

No Barlo-baby yet. Everyone think water breaking thoughts, we would love to have the mad dash to the hospital at three in the morning several hours before should would be induced.

I don't think she would let me ride her on the handlebars to the hospital though!

I think I'm at 9/12?

SUPER riding, everybody. Very smooth! And Dolores did her FIRST REAL OCEAN SWIM today ... isn't that exciting???

Official report to Cat is tomorrow; I'm also still hoping for news of a new-Barlo-born to report with our standings.

I saw the most bee-yoo-tee-full Barloworld jersey and bib in my LBS yesterday. They had to mop up the drool puddles around my feet and gently try to redirect me to a good-looking Ironman. I still wanted the Barlo-stuff more
