Here's a pic of my bike after getting it fit.  The handlebar drop + aero bars are the biggest change.  I'm kinda glad I got a smaller frame now.  It made the tri fit work.

I completed a fantastic swim tonight--ok, just 2000m, but it was fantastic because I actually ENJOYED swimming (a rare occurrence of late.). Of course, then I came home, had a bit of food, the usual. Clint (the husband) gets up to go take a shower, and then I hear: "huh, guess I know what that noise was..." I say"Noise? What noise?!" He had apparently heard a loud crash early in the afternoon, but didn't really attempt to find out what it was--something had broken his bathroom window (well, cracked it real good anyhow). Thankfully its too small to climb through, and being double paned, only a tiny bit of glass on the inside fell out--and its over the shower, so even if water leaks in, its no biggie. But now we need to learn how to remove old window, find replacement window, and install it....and its about 6.5 feet up....

I'm cool with buying/fixing it, but really???? you hear a loud noise and just kinda shrug it off????Eessh men (present manatee men excepted).

Cute.  But the Vet Tech in me wants to know about the wound on his right wrist....

Awww what an incredibly observant soul you are! It's a hot spot he keeps nibbling on (making it worse of course). It's being treated.

Thank you for appeasing me .  I love rotties.  They got a bad rap for a few years and most of them are teddy bears.

Me too me too! I need some Jo nursing! I just felt up my chest and you can really feel which rib is cracked. Blech! I'm sure it would feel much better if Jo felt me up

DAAAAAWGIES! this is my sister with Khan, the Rottie that the hot piglet here who adopted us has. (The dog who sleeps with the bunnies and the cats. So cute)

We are leaving Taupo now. So sad! But more adventures ready to be made in Auckland and then some hell-raisin' with Jo in Melbourne!

Yeah, another Fuji Fan. I like it, nice ride. Hopefully it will warm up a bit for you and you can get it back out on the road.  I'll have to post a pic of mine after I redo the handlebar tape.  Currently I have some black stuff on it, but it will be replaced for the season with the "Kevin's Bacon" from Raleigh. Makes it easy to pick it out in a transition area. And it keeps with my personality.

That handlebar tape truly looks weird.  You'll definitely get a lot of double takes.
