OK, I googled 'rock girls names' and it came up with these names:

Alana, Lana, Petra, Rochelle, Santana and Tina are popular Rock baby names.
Andromeda, Cassiopeia, Pernella, Perrin, Pierette and Tesla are uncommon Rock baby names

hope this helps :-)

I'm finally out of the red in swimming :-)  I have to get ahead of the game, though, because I won't have access to a pool for 4 days :-(  But, those 4 days I will be running and biking, of course

I liked the name Petra whoever suggested that for Kenny's bike.  I liked Nikita too :-)  You could always call her Sweetie :-

I'm super excited!

Swim and run ON TRACK! YEAH!!! Swim will be at 100% by end of week and run should be at or close to 100% as well.

bike at 50% but I have a plan. Have 1 hr 45 min of spin class (w/f morning) planned for the week and will do the remaining 3 hrs Sun - Wed... I know I can get it all in.

Best part is I feel pretty good. I thought I would be wiped out, but I felt strong yesterday on the treadmill and again in the pool this morning.

YEAH! Most everyone else is in really good shape! Sorry to drag our % down, but looks like I'll make it.

Hi everyone,

I've been getting a lot of questions about penalties for the losers.  The two teams with the lowest overall percentages for the month will have to change their avatar to something with a flower (April showers bring May flowers...).  If you are on a losing team, it doesn't matter what your percentages are, just that you are on one of the teams with the lowest percentage.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Goodness.  This means I should not only try and stay out of the red in swimming but swim an extra 10%. Also I guess I should do an extra lifting session this month to get the ol' percentages up.

 Let's go pumpkins!!!

I'm done with the biking, although there is still biking to be done.  I should be done running this by Monday and maybe get a little over with the race this weekend.  I'll be without a pool for the next 4 days, so I will get the last few thousand yards on Tues and Wed.

Let's bring it home pumpkins :-)  I hope everyone has a good weekend.

I've passed my goals for the swim and run for this month.  If my sleep deprived butt hadn't been so worn out, I'd have passed my bike goal last night as well.

Less than a week to go....keep it up pumpkins

Hi pumpkins
Chipping away at my deficit..
Note to self, when you're tracking hours make sure you don't leave 8 MINUTES to meet your goals... duh..

Who is racing this weekend beside Brian? Good luck Brian!

Have a good one.

The sun is sort of out here, meaning it's really light grey and not raining - leaving work to go for a ride on my actual bike! yeah!

Nearly there folks.........had a good week with lots of running at lunchtime while at work. Lots of biking...hopefully...ahead for this weekend to close up that deficit. All going to plan so far though.......and will probably end up close to 110% in both run and swim.

Good luck with your race Brian.

Have a fun weekend everyone else!

What goin' on pumpkins!

Hope the training is going well.  I did my second mini tri day of the week because I had some missed (unexpected rest days) days due to work and such.

2500 yards in the pool

26 mile bike

6.8 mile run

All down today.  That leaves me within reach of my goals for the month and I'll try to get as close to 110% as possible.  We're into the last few days.  It's time to tighten the chinstrap, double knot the shoes, and pull down those googles one more time cause the finish line is within reach.  We can pull this one out.  I know we can.

How are we doing team? It looks like we've got a couple of people over the top already - congrats to Kiwikowgirl and medic0020. I've got to get about 3400 meters of swimming in and a half hour of biking, so I'll make it.

Anyone need some extra inspires to make it over the top?

Hi pumpkins

Brian - nice race! way to go.

Well I'm almost there! YEAH! I have 1 hr 5 min of running, 8 min of swimming and 20 min of riding to get to 100%. Should be no problem with 3 days left! I'll get over 100% in swimming and possibly riding.

Hope everyone had a great weekend - let's finish strong!!!!

Good morning Pumpkins!

Way to go team....everyone seems to be on track for us to win this one!

This weekend I ran a 1/2 marathon and got a PR.  I am soo excited.  I made it a goal to complete a 1/2 marathon in 2008 under 2 hours.  I did it yesterday!  I ran it in 1:58:57.  YIPPEE!  So, now I am at 110% of my running.  The only problem is that it didn't change on the graph.  I sent Artemis an email to hopefully fix it.

I have some swimming and lifting left, which I will do this week.  No problem.

I hope everybody is staying healthy and training hard.

GO PUMPKINS!!
