Yeah of the list on the other page, those guys are: engineer(s), chiropractor, marketing, near-exec in oil industry, near-exec in aircraft industry,  finance (in aircraft and oil industries), college professor.

ALL of them I know for a fact making upper 5-figure salaries (except the professor, that is unknown), a few of them making 6-figures. Does that make a difference for those of you who thought it was not so strange? Kansas is not an expensive place to live so either they have tons of debt they are trying to manage, or not ready to be independent. Neither good or bad... again just food for thought.

To change the subject... how are the dates going? Any exciting ones planned for the weekend?
I go in phases and am definitely in a reclusive phase right now. Really enjoying hanging out alone these days

Thanks, B! I try to keep my appearance up for the cats. And I think it is reversible...and if not surely there must be a crazy cat guy out there for me!

I've never heard of a crazy cat guy.  Maybe crazy dog guy...Every time I drive by the shelter I want to go in and take like 10 dogs home.  Does that count? 

So much for laying low. I just asked a guy out on Match. 

it KILLS me to have a cat.  I had a dog for 12 years, and just am not home enough to take care of one solo (had a lot of help from the parents who watched him during the week).  When he passed away, they were saying no more pets, as much as they loved having  him, he was easy in his old age.  So a cat for me it was.  Just no fun.  I'm trying, but right now she's difficult.  Only a year old, so basically still in puppy stage.

Thats kinda the reason I want to have an SO, so I can get a dog. come to think of it, its what I miss the most about my ex...my dog living with me!  Sigh.  Till I can afford to get my own place with a yard, its not going to  happen.  I wonder if I can train my cat to run?

That's awesome!  You have to post videos. I had one that would fetch NERF golf balls until you got tired of throwing them.

As a Dog loving, single guy that has two energic labs, I'd rather go out with someone that has a cat or two..  It can get tough balancing my dogs and someone else's.  As far as planning things for an evening or an all day event at least. 

My gf's cat was trained to knock on the mail slot when it wants to go outside.  Freaked me out the first time I thought someone was knocking on the door and noone was there.

I'd prefer a woman that has either a cat or no pets simply because most people's dogs behave like absolute crap and it drives me insane.  

Dude, that's one of the best ways to screen for potential mothers of your children. If they can't properly train a dog, how are they going to properly train a kid? 

I start with easier screenings, like sandwich preparation.  

Properly training you all is the first obstacle.... get 'em young, train 'em right! 

I'm super lucky that my dog can roam free in the house, and she also has a dog door and a big enough back yard to run around in.   Most of my friends actually joke that the only reason I bought a house was so that I could get a dog, and they're totally right.  The day after I signed for my house I wanted to go rescue one from the shelther, and my friends talked me out of it since I still wanted to paint and do some things to the house.  The next Saturday, I was first in line at the shelter and rescued this scared little American Bulldog mixed puppy, and it's been the best decision I've ever made.  I totally get wanting a dog haha I'd do WHATEVER it takes to have one if I didn't already. 

If I was single, I would hope for you. 

I think you are way cool, but like a lot of my friends I am almost deathly allergic to kitty cats!
