Yes I am in front of a computer all day, have about 20 windows open at all times.  Speaking of free time I made this spreadsheet up because I am math challenged when trying to figure out how fast I need to go to meet a goal.

I promise this spreadsheet is much easier to read and use than the aerodynamics one.

Race Calculator

Just enter your race distances in the boxes, enter your swim time in HH:MM:SS, bike pace  and run pace in HH:MM:SS and enter your transition times and it adds them all up.  I protected the sheet, the password is tony if you want to go in and edit anything.

I to sit in front of a computer all day..obviously!! But when I'm not 'working' or on BT, I'm doing constructive things like going for coffee, or training. Nice sheet Tony!

rstocks here on BT uses the neverreach system also and if you search there are a ton of posts that he has responded to.

For me it seems like overkill but to each his own.  I was thinking about picking up one of these instead.

That's clever. Did you do that yourself?  I am very impressed.  I sit at a desk most of the day but have very limited knowledge of computers.  Cool.

With 3 extra people all suffering from massive jet lag I am cooking non-stop.  Just this morning I made 3 different breakfasts before 8:30am.  I think I'll hit the grocery store again tonight.  The worst part is, I ate kelbasa, eggs, toast and OJ this morning and I'M HUNGRY AGAIN!  I'm turning into a Hobbit.  Second breakfast, 11ees, lunch, afternoon tea, supper, dinner, plus food for other people Wink

Speaking of which I think I'll go have lunch now. The morning snack has worn off.

you were probably one of those tourists I ran by taking pictures.  I often wonder how many peoples vacation pictures I make it in while running downtown.

We have a TON of pics - we'll be sorting for a while.

Tony, I don't suppose you rode up to NYC and thru Times Square about 7pm this past Saturday?
The Highlight of the trip for me...two dudes, naked as can be, riding bikes thru Times Square.  I don't know if it was funnier to see the dudes...or to watch the cops running around after them.

But seriously, I think there are more runners and bike riders in DC/Arlington than there are cars - very impressive.

Reub:

You definitely WERE NOT on the BEltway in rush hour (3 hours actually) if you think that. It is the worst traffic I have ever seen, and I was born in NYC!

I thought that was cross country skiing and target shooting with a rifle...

Their event still sounds like fun...

Me too.  I have a great rifle I could strap on for the bike ride.  Wonder what the sheriff would say?

Canadians excel at that sport in the Olympics!! Although, I do not know a sole who does it, or has even tried it.

ME! Well sorta, doing an Olympic as a BIG TRAINING DAY--have HR caps on the bike and the run since this is my 3rd week in row with events.  This course is well beyond my biking capabilities so I am so hoping I can spin up the biggest hills without falling over.

Hey guys thanks for the suggestions on the hydration systems.  I didn't realize they could be that expensive!  I debating between the one Steve suggested and the one Trevor suggested.  Both are insulated, one holds almost twice as much but the other one has a cool bracket for your bike computer.  Oh and the one Trevor suggested is $50 usd cheaper ($100 vs $50).  Off to read the rest of our posts..
