Elite 6387 | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser TrevorC - 2012-03-21 10:54 AM Bripod - 2012-03-21 10:03 AM Very telling that NOBODY put a thing on Conda's Tiki for the first third of the competition (or more). She is invincible, and I don't know why. She does not get the overall point of the show of losing weight. Mark grew on me a little bit during the last episode, and I lost all respect for Jeremy (not that there was much left to begin with). I'd be curious to see how the challenge played itself out if Kim had found the "death lei"--which of the Fab Five would she have chosen to ostracize? I'm really hoping for a week where green team falls below the yellow line. Maybe they could start doing 3 people below the yellow line? Is it bad that I'm ready for a new season to start because I don't really like any of the remaining contestants? Even Buddy is in Conda's pocket. C'mon Buddy. Any speaking of that... Can't really understand why she threw it on Kim when Kim already had 5 or so lei's on her. Everyone knew she was being targetted. Could have killed 2 birds pretty quickly. As well, Megan is driving me nuts.... When the surfer girl first appeared, and Megan said in an interview "Bethany is my idol/hero" or whatever she said. Really??? You are a farm girl from Missouri. I couldn't imagine that she even knew of Bethany. Shouldn't someone like Taylor Swift be her hero? It was so ridiculous to put the wreath in her... she was done already. Total waste of a big move. Why in the world anybody on that "game" allows Conda and Jeremy to stay on the show is beyond me. They are a strong team, Conda would probably be gone without him, he is a strong player.... and here it is they can break it up on a challenge like last night and they let them walk through another one with immunity. Blows my mind. It was sort of funny though listening to Kim talk about being on the outs when she was behind Conda in the beginning and had her back. Wrong game choice. |

If he'd been smart he would have realized that he couldn't win and he should have gone after Conda/Jeremy from the start. |

Expert 1087 Portland | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I really feel like the contestants are really not particularely intelligent this season. Kimmy putting the "death lei" on Kim was just dumb! EVERYONE was going for her! I'm fed up with everyone feeding Chonda's entitled attitude. I really feel like she is an awful human being and wish she would have been voted off weeks ago. Once the finale is over I doubt that Kimmy will keep it off, she REALLY doesn't seem to get it. Given their lifestyle of farming will not owe itself to being athletically active like she learned on the ranch. Edited by menglo 2012-03-21 8:01 PM |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Yet again in the season of "no excuses" I find myself hearing many. *sigh* Antoine was spot on. Conda holding Megan's elbow as they left the weigh in was quite classic....here, let me help you...OUT THE DOOR! Does anyone else think Mark might just be close to a normal weight? I mean, he looks pretty skinny at this point. I wonder why he didn't lose any weight. I was apalled at how much fat and sodium the contestants entrees had in them. I'm not surprised Megan didn't lose more weight. She stressed out her body by staying up too late to get Bob's "homework" done. I hope Kim didn't dehydrate too badly to get her 7. She could totally $crew herself over next week! I'm also surprised she didn't pick up on Mark's strategy to do the heavy boxes first. Jeremy needs to be forced to cook at the ranch or he is going to be an EPIC FAIL when he gets home. So odd that Buddy supposedly can't do anything weight bearing but was allowed to do Zumba and the "obstacle course"? Kim needs to find a non-competition motivation or she will also be an EPIC FAIL when she gets home. |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Smart keeping Mark around. 200lbs? I think you are right, nothing to lose. And what bs not owning that decision and sending Megan home. Makes me puke. Good for Chris for losing the weight. I am officially cheering for Chris and Kim. And Buddy, I mean wow man. No weight bearing and you are still losing weight. Not sure how that is possible. eta: I think it must be a relatively minor stress fracture (if there is such a thing). Although all advice I have read does say you don't run on a stress fracture. whatever. Edited by BigDH 2012-03-28 9:52 AM |

I also thougth it was kind of ironic that the week's excuse was "exercise is boring" and they started it out with a "totin' boxes" challenge which is about the most boring challenge ever. No strategy (really), no twists, just totin' boxes and the best box toter wins a one pound advantage--which is, of course, as always, immediately described as "huge." |

Member 131 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Nice things from last episode - Buddy was a riot in the Zumba class - he seems like a good guy. Megan got engaged and can ride the horse again without killing it. Not so nice things - Chris is so stressed out - I am amazed she is losing any weight. She is so afraid of going home. I thought she was going to pass out during the weigh-in. I don't see a happy ending for her and Santa. Conda is still at her manipulative best. All this sympathy/empathy for Megan, Kim, etc. but would vote them out in a second to win. Keeping Mark was the right move - not much left to lose. If Megan actuallly was getting her act together, she had much more to lose. I can't stand Conda, but she is the best "player" the show has seen. If she were doing Survivor, she'd be the next "Russell". I think Kim is next - she max'd out for the money this week (who could blame her).

Well, it is huge if you weigh 160-170 lbs...not so huge if you weigh almost 300....hence why it should be a PERCENTAGE advantage, not pounds! |

At least this one seemed fair or all the contestants. I can't believe they only had an hour show - must need more weeks for the contestants to lose some weight since it hasn't been happening very fast so far. I'll be glad when this season is over. |

It's always my favorite part of the season. Not going to lie...watching Buddy run to his family got the eyes a little watery. And I loved his line about the hardest part of being on the show isn't losing the weight and the hard workouts, it's being away from your real support group. Damn that 1 hr episode. |

Later there was a teaser phone call from Santa to Chris where he says he needs her to come home....wondering what's up with their relationship. Ya, Mark needed to keep the beard, but very close shaken. Buddy looked great and Kim looked great too. I still think Conda looks pretty big. If Jeremy keeps losing to his normal weight, he will be good looking and has a nice smile. |

I suspect Chism and Santa could not do the White House thing because they are former Ranch residents and thus NBC wants us to not see them again until the finale... I wonder if because of the trip to DC this will be a "long week" on the ranch...i.e. transparent to the viewers, but it's actually 10 days instead of 7 between weigh ins. Because if they spent a whole day getting made over, and probably at LEAST a day maybe 2 getting to DC and back (from the WEST COAST!) then there isn't much time for workouts! |
