Happy Monday, 6.7 more days until kids back in school (got to love winter break) Its not even noon yet. I don't think I am going to survive this week.

Work work work!

Kids around here are on a 4-day weekend, with just 2 weeks before getting 2 (or was it 3?) snow days. Lucky ducks.

At work... but I'm "off" Thursday morning. Unpaid. There's a parade, and the staging area cuts off my work from the rest of town. It's strange.

Just a standard work day, well if you can call the president of your company yelling at you a normal day.

Fortunately I haven't had to deal with that since I left my last job. In my exit interview I mentioned the president's bad attitude was one of my main reasons leaving and the HR director said that was a common issue. Just a few years later I heard he was fired and escorted out of the office by security and the company is doing much better now...

Morning TAN. Yesterday 7 inches of snow, 17 degrees and miserable out. Today 47 and sunny. Welcome to Iowa, the most confusing state in America for day to day weather.

Been out of TAN for a while and when I came back I saw food again.    So the wife and I had some friends over on Saturday evening for a dinner party.  I went to Whole Foods with and she had me pick 4 cheeses.  I never pick, I just try whatever she buys for this type of thing.  Well about $40,00 of cheeses later we have some cheeses that I could slice up for everyone to have a little.  My favorite was an Irish Porter cheddar.

Then we made bacon wrapped - crab stuffed - jumbo shrimp that we baked.  We had pasta and bread also, but the shrimp were awesome.

Tell him they were amazing and ask him to cook more because you loved being spoiled.

or

Take a cooking class together

or

Tell him that if he ever wants to see you nekkid again, he'd better get in the kitchen and cook something....like NOW!

Annie and I have. There is a local market that does them about once a month. They're pretty fun, especially if you have a drink or two before hand....

I have in previous relationships.  It's fun.  I have to say, I get a little bored with the pace in the beginner classes, but they are still fun.
