I updated the spreadsheet, hopefully the number of hits on BT won't suddenly land me on the excessive internet usage report here at work - yikes!

This should give us some extra motivation! We're still behind by almost two percentage points.
Women: 71.53 (Note: Data for Lynda needs to be updated still)
Men: 73.46

I have a horrible cold but as soon as I'm over it I should be able to get out there and do some serious riding.

Go Gear Goddesses!

My little nephew calls it his winkie. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you appropriated the nickname.

lizard - 2005-06-21 1:39 PM I updated the spreadsheet,

Women: 71.53

Men: 73.46

Goddesses, this hard won victory will feel FANTASTIC. We've got to dig down deep for a THREE-PEAT! I was going to ride 12 miles this evening; I'm going to have to kick that up quite a bit.

THREE-PEAT!

THREE-PEAT!

Tania, your post at the top of this page makes me laugh every time I read it!

I can't open the spreadsheet, but as of this morning, I'm at 224 of 280 miles (80%). This evening I may do another 5-10 if I feel up to it. If not, I'll slip it to tomorrow after my run.

Good job, goddesses!

The men are actually at 74.3% because they removed coredump from the challenge.  Being the weaker sex, they just couldn't pull it together as a team like the ladies were able to do in the Swim Challenge, and as we are doing now in this challenge for our Goddesses that have had injuries/schedule issues come up.

I'm not much of a trash talker, but thanks to the boners, I'm trying very hard to get the hang of it. Practice, Practice!   Way to go on your goal - you're SUCH a Goddess!

I was updating as she posted, so here's the "official" version. Note I added a column that eliminates the first and the last participants. I have men at 74.27% and the women at 72.07%.

Goddesses,

I'm coming off of two easy weeks and looking at two weeks with at least 16 hours in the saddle. So, I have quite a few long rides left in me . . . so no worries. We'll get 'um in the end. Just keep riding :0)

Ladies - I am back! I apologize for only logging about 57 miles over the weekend. But never fear, that puts me at 260.51/350. I won't put many miles in this taper week (perhaps around 30 if I can find somewhere flat to ride), but I do have my race on Sunday which is 56 miles. After that I have 4 days to make up the rest. It won't be a problem. I will try to do a few extra for the injured ladies who are too proud to withdraw from the challenge.

You girls sure talk alot. I had about 5 pages on this thread to catch up on!

LET'S GO GODDESSES!

Current status: 224/307= 73 % of the way there! And planned for the next 9 days: Thursday, 20 miles, Sat-Sun 100 miles, Tuesday 20 miles, Thursday 20 miles. End result? 384/307= 125%. Keep bringing the trashtalk, boys. It's only gonna make it worse!

Man I love being a Gear Goddess!
