Ouch. How are you feeling now?

Not too bad actually. Need more sleep, but generally feel ok. That might change once I start a workout though. Lately I really never know for sure until I try to get going.

I had to do 12 of them yesterday. My numbers were obviously slower than yours but I ended up fast on all of them, ending somewhere in the 138 range. Which is crazy for me.

Mmmmm....something about uniforms on horseback.

I now have the necessary mental pics to drag myself into the backyard to trim and mow...in 104* afternoon. Undecided

Yanti-I counted your 6/13 activity (and you all should read her log to see the activity) as relaxation/meditation.  Any way I read that (with my innocent or naughty eyes) it would fit as your jogo.

I am registered to do a century tomorrow for American Diabetes Association's Tour deCure.   I haven't been on a bike since 7/8/12.  What do you think?   Want to take bets on how far I will actually go?

Wow, I don't know that I'd attempt a century after 11 months T.I.T.S.-less. As for the bet. You'll go as far as you want to Wink

Is it ambitious?  Shows you how much I know.  Ignorance is bliss.

I am still recovering from an "over reaching" (not as bad as being over trained, but still pretty sucky)  period in February and some really low iron, so I'm trying to be a good girl and be patient, but my run times still aren't where they were in January :/

Thank you for the suggestion about the group (pod?).  You guys are great!

Chris it is. I'm not sure who Dan is, but I'm starting to wonder if your hubby should worry ;)

Many groups of animals have certain names, ie, Pride of lions, Gaggle of geese, Pod of manatees. Thus the Pod reference.

Chris!  I am so sorry.  I don't know why I got that so messed up.  (I dreamed it?) My husband should definitely worry about my brain, but not about any dude named Dan.

Really sorry about that.

And Ben, that Master's practice sounds brutally yucky.

Erin - LOVE the video of the diving!!!  I'm sure my parents wanted me to be as good as I could possibly be... as close to home as possible.

TJ - Oceanside... you don't say...

Kirsten - I'm so sorry about the stuff getting stolen.  I remember there being a rash of thefts in Vancouver of the copper wiring from various things to be able to sell as scrap metal - I can only hope that karma will come back to bite them where the sun don't shine.  You also TOTALLY made me smile with chuffed!  It was used so often when I was living in London and I hardly get to hear it anymore!  Were you equally 'gutted' to realize that you'd mounted the tire backwards?

And on the HOLY CRAP I'M FREAKIN' EXCITED front... I just finished buying our plane tickets to Vancouver for Xmas!!!  WOOT!

Beyond gutted!!  I have to admit, chuffed came from Darren Wink.  Let me know when you are in town for Christmas, would love to meet you in person!

Sounds brilliant (another UK fave!) - I hope we can find some time to meet!

It's going to be a tad crazy for me as by Xmas it will be over a year and a half since I was able to be home (not being allowed to leave the country kinda put the kaibosh on Xmas last year) so it's entirely possible that I'm going to want crave with ever fiber of my being to run away from the family for a bit and make my out to THAT place.

That's still doing alright! Every now and then these are great to try and get through. All the hard bike workouts really help with the mentality of pushing in Masters. Then just making sure to add in control to maintain form. It didn't help directly in making my swimming faster, but did help a lot in getting the hang of executing the workouts well fairly quickly. Some of the others there aren't much faster and haven't shown much improvement (at least from I can see) because they don't get quite get that.

What I'm doing now on the bike could be seen more as MP to lower threshold tempo training if it was running. Hopefully soon I can get into the harder ones and really push it again. Can learn a lot about the effort levels there as there really isn't much else to think about.

I need to learn a few things about my bike. Not sure that I could do the necessary fixes on my own right now Frown

Wishing you clear weather! (although I would do many silly dances for some cloud cover and lower temps right about now)

I just want to point out that I swam five times this week, and so far, I have spent more time in the pool this week than riding or running. That will change after I run tonight and tomorrow, but it's still pretty amazing for this non swimming manatee.

Just patting myself on the back. Laughing
