Member 202 Salt Lake City, UT | Subject: RE: BT Swim Challenge Let's go Chycks! On a personal note, I had a personal best week ever in my swim last week. I swam 1500 yards twice...I have never swam so far in my life. I think I'm starting to think like a fish. |

Pro 3870 Virginia Beach, VA | Subject: RE: BT Swim Challenge Well, if you want to get technical about it...both teams backed down this past week. The guys swam 22% less collectively than week one and the women swam 18% less. I know I personally was ~4500m down from where I would have been if I hadn't let the girls talk me into a rest day. No worries though...I'll get another 20km in over this next 2 weeks and I'm sure the other men will focus on the task at hand...spanking the ladies. SKIN TO WIN...get those legs waxed! Gwozdzilla - 2005-05-16 1:00 PM amiine - 2005-05-16 10:32 AMOk fellows it is time to pick it up. As any other Triathlon race it is a matter of starting slow, get into a rythm and save energy for the last push. The Chyck team is on the lead for the moment but with our last push we will beat them for sure as they will run out fo gas Ain't gonna happen boyz. We have been starting slow and are now in OUR last push, and we chycks know how to push at the end like no pushin' you've ever seen! We don't run out of gas we just keep pickin' it up and kickin' your teams sorry slow ass! (oh my, I have never trashed talked like that before, kind of liberating and naughty) |

Yes, by all means, keep focusing on spankings & skin... the girls will continue to focus on swimming their laps... and the results will speak for themselves (as they already are). :-p |

Guy's always overachieving. Keep it up fellas. Sweetpea, it's not called overachieving if you aren't achieving your goal. And, no, nobody pointed it out because this Challenge was always about Meeting One's Goals as opposed to muscles competing against muscles. The boys have 2 whole weeks to cowboy-up and meet their goals. It's a little early to start giving concession excuses already, isn't it? Now go do your laps! *smack* Edited to add: T E A M C H Y C K R O C K S! Edited by Renee 2005-05-16 4:05 PM |

Champion 5183 Wisconsin | Subject: RE: BT Swim Challenge uh oh, i forgot to post a swim last week (pre race warmup, but still yardage!) and also the yards from the race. so I just added it. sorry to screw up the system, but it's only a measly 800 yds total, and I plan to swim so far beyond my wildest fantasies, it won't matter.... |

Hey, whatever gets you through your laps, it's all right, it's all right. :-p Feel free to bump up all the sandbaggers who underpledged their distances. Since so many of you going to "smash your pledges" surely that is indication that is is *YOU* who are the underachievers here, and not *US*. -Chris |

Hey, whatever gets you through your laps, it's all right, it's all right. :-p Oooohhhhhhhhhhhh sure sure sure... It can't be that we are simply hitting our goals... it must be that we've cheated in some way. If you check my log, you will see that last month I swam less than 7000 yards and the month before around 10,000 (I think), so I don't think anyone could accuse me of underpledging. In fact, COREDUMP's advice is the reason I began swimming five times a week!!! (Dude, you've been outted.) Regardless of what you think the women did... it still does not explain why the men are performing below their goal - does it? Edited by Renee 2005-05-16 6:36 PM |

Pro 3870 Virginia Beach, VA | Subject: RE: BT Swim Challenge I believe the suggestion was that the men may have set more challenging goals for themselves and therefore have to push harder to reach them. 46% isn't a concern...can easily be made up over the next 2 weeks. My personal struggle is do I A) crank out the yards to blow you women out of the water who are trying to beat me (and risk being the high number thrown out on the men's team) or B) plan carefully and swim just enough to beat my goal while making sure I'm not tossed (and take a chance that some chick happens to swim more). What to do... Renee - 2005-05-16 6:34 PM coredump - 2005-05-16 5:52 PM Renee - 2005-05-16 3:47 PM Feel free to bump up all the sandbaggers who underpledged their distances.
