Fine by me. I am not the greatest on updating the spreadsheet. I am tracking food and wt and workouts on two other sites and that takes more of my focus than I have .

I think continuing the spreadsheet makes sense... all of our information is already there.

And I think the only advantage to creating a new thread is that it might attract new people...

Well I didn't participate in round 2, so do you mind if I hop in and join you for your round 3?

I didn't participate in Round 2 or Round 1 either.  Actually, I've been MIA on here for several months and need to hop back on the wagon!  Can I join as well?

Welcome, new members! I don't mind using the same spreadsheet. Kinda like seeing my old stuff on it anyway.

Doing good with the eating. Played some soccer Monday, and last night got bike/run session in at the gym.

What is the new time frame for round 3? Even though my goal is still to drop the middle number in my weight like it was the previous 2 rounds.

Thanks for the welcome! I am definitely ready to kick it into high gear for the next 12 weeks! Right now I am focusing more on strength/weight training and am following the LiveFit 12 week trainer. I am actually just finishing up my 2nd week......and ache from head to toe. I haven't done a whole lot of strength training in the past so this is something different for me. But now I get to see what the other half of the gym looks like. :-) Today was a rest day. Did really well with the diet today until I got home from work & ended up splitting a pizza with my son. Begining stats: weight - 128 / about 28% body fatGoal: I would like to get down to about 110-115 and around 20% body fatGood luck to everyone on meeting their goals for the next 12 weeks!!!

Great!  I definitely need this.  I had piriformis issues and plantar fasciitis last year and wasn't really able to train.  But I still partied with my tri friends despite not doing the workouts, and now I've gained about 20 lbs!  So my goal will be to lose at least some of that over the course of the challenge.... I weighed myself just now and am at 163 lbs and 30.9% body fat (ugh!!)  So for this challenge, I'll aim to lose 15 lbs and hopefully most of that will be fat.

My main focus will be strength training, interval work, and paying attention to nutrition.  Also, lots of yoga and foam rolling!

Howdy everyone! How is everyone doing so far? I am doing pretty good. Logging food, making decent choices. I need to be better in the evenings. I can be GREAT during the day, then the evening falls to pieces. I don't snack, I just have too big of helpings at dinner and then there is the wine.

Little steps.

I'm in again!

Weight is way up after the holidays, but I know atleast 5 lbs of it will drop pretty quickly once I'm back on track. I've been reading "The Warrior Diet" and think I'll give it a shot. It seems like it will work really well with my lifestyle and get me eating more fruits and veggies, which is always a goal of mine.

Let's make it happen!

I'm in again.  My friend gifted me a awesome pair of bib style riding tights for those frosty winter TT's.  I have 6 weeks to make them fit before the frostbite 40k.

I'm tracking all my calories and watching the wine very closely.  If I didn't workout, no wine for me.

Cheers,
Mark

I do the same thing!  Really good about logging food during the day then seem to forget all about it in the evenings.  Oh, and I love my wine!!

Finally got on the spreadsheet (my computer was acting up and wouldn't open)  Anyway - shouldn't it be amended to show a March date as opposed to 12/31?

Thanks!

Hi all  I put my stats on the spreadsheet to reflect my goal for the end of March.  I also took some pics and put it in my log.  Yikes!  I have a ways to go if I want to be able to squeeze into my wetsuit again by spring!

I'm thinking as part of this challenge, I *really* need to cut back on my drinking since I now appear to be sporting a fairly prominent beer belly!  So I think I'll lay off the booze for all of January and see if it helps!

I am not qualified. Maybe someone else can fix it up.
