Sensei ![]() | ![]() I have to agree with many of the above posters. I never really had a think for Andrea, but I do recall this last episode or two that I was "dang, she is looking pretty good". I could be wrong, but she doesn't look like a kid with baby fat (not that she really had any in the first place), but a little more lean makes her look a bit more mature and more attractive. Maybe young a soft compared to mature and lean? |

I think what makes her more attractive also is she looks happy & is smiling most of the time - especially in contrast to all of the crying, emo from the rest of the women. |

That is a part of him, we can forget about it or separate it, when we watch this season but I bet he can not. Now, we have seen interviews with Malcolm where he made jabs at Cochran about that first idol being the only time he would win an idol so he'll "give it to him" and so on. I kind of wonder if maybe Malcolm showed some of that attitude to Cochran but we just don't see it on the show. Or I wonder if in a way he views Malcolm as this seasons Ozzie and this was the ultimate retribution. Just some thoughts. Loving this season though. Agree that Malcolm made his move too soon - easy to say now You had Cochran down perfectly |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() 3SpokeFan - 2013-04-29 11:31 AM This season Cochran's to lose right now. He's positioned well. Not a challenge threat (even after winning them). On no one's radar. Likable but not unmemorable (riding coat tails). He needs to worry that if there is a strong player at the end with him and a couple very week players, there might be a play to bring the weak players. I think, for example, if Reynold had a chance to go and bring Cochran or Andrea or Dawn/Cheri? He would see that Cochran would be the one to get rid of as his only chance would be against the others. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brenda in the final three either. She's under the radar right now. |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Bye bye, Andrea! With an idol in her pocket! Good episode. Wish they had made it 2 hours though because I am *sure* there was more interesting talk on the beach we missed. With her paranoia so high can't believe she didn't play it. Cochran played both sides BEAUTIFULLY. Make no buts about it...HE really orchestrated that move. HE is the one that ratted out Andrea to Dawn and Brenda.... Good job, Cochran. Though, it sounds like next week they all figure out Cochran is bad news. Interesting to see the votes...two people voted for Eddie...which essentially were throw aways because if Andrea played her idol Brenda was going home...it was cochran and someone else that voted Eddie....they went by so fast and I don't have a DVR. Strange...bizarre...interesting....seemed like part of the plan but I don't get it! :D |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Andrea got to brave without back up.... and if you decide you want to turn on the alliance... you might want to make sure you sort of keep that from the alliance... I mean hello... how can you trust who you tell, they are all in the alliance. Eddie was not a threat, but you knew he was a free vote. Brenda was a good vote, she is a threat. Reynold was the right vote on #1. Andrea pushing so hard for Dawn or Brenda... too risky. Eddie is the safe vote, and then nobody has a choice, and then the scramble begins, but you have an idol... she should have kept her mouth shut. Cochran... keep thinking you have the game in hand... he will be going next. No telling how this is going to turn out. |

I thought it was funny that they seemed to find the idol pretty quickly and Malcolm was out there digging around and couldn't find it.
I think their clue might have been a little clearer than Malcolm's, also 7 people looking instead of one. I'm a little disappointed. Malcolm, Andrea and Conchron were/are the main players in the game. If they all three get voted off... a lot of the rest of them are just riding along - I really would be disappointed seeing them win the money. Eddie "lets just see what happens' Doesn't even try in the immunity challenge? That was a big deal when Phillip did it and supposedly he at least had some water trauma from his youth- Eddie just wanted donuts....And lets not forget Eric who now feels hes 'in control of the game' but does nothing to change it. Can you imagine if Sherry wins? If Conchron (OMG, how do you spell his name??) goes, I guess I would rather see Brenda get it. I respect that she was not willing to just give up the challenge. Good episode last night. Beneath Andrea's obscene beauty is a huge layer of paranoia at an unhealthy level. Maybe they are all that paranoid and they edited it that way to really show her getting crazy on last nights episode. True blindside and shock on her face. I think Reynold knew he was going if he didn't win immunity so I don't think he was very surprised especially since he's been a marked man since day 1.
I can see how Reynold can probably rub people the wrong way but Dawn is really sensitive about him. It is strange how she was okay with Phillip but felt really mentally off around Reynold. Reynold comes off as a an obnoxious frat boy where Phillip was a delusional bully type. Again I've been over Dawn for 5 episodes now.
Other than the challenges Brenda seems content to be a vote for hire role player. Very different from her last season.
Why Eric? Why? Did you just hand that immunity idol to Andrea? Was there some sort of agreement before the search when she shared it with the alliance? |

I think she was thinking she wasn't a target at all and might save it for next time if she felt a hint of being a target. I guess it didn't go off soon enough. Looks like Eddie might go to the finals considering the previews for next week. |

We wondered the same thing!!! Why did Eric hand it to Andrea when he found it. Now way would I have given it to her! Of course last time he gave away his idol and went home, maybe he didn't learn! |

Why Eric? Why? Did you just hand that immunity idol to Andrea? Was there some sort of agreement before the search when she shared it with the alliance? Ya, I didn't get that either... he wasn't really in anyone's face, and every week was the same for him. He was on the bottom and had no power. And Dawn was a lap dog for Philip. I really do not care for her play. And Eric made the right move with the idol.... you can say that... but keeping the idol, or stealing the idol, when it is not yours, will have other consequences... and the idol itself puts a cross hair on you. He has wanted to stay under the radar, and that was the right move. Good will from Andrea, keeps the drama off him... does not "take" what is not his. I would have done the same. |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() A couple comments. The "clue" was exactly the same for Malcom and Andrea. But Malcom only had 60 seconds to memorize it. If he forgot any part of it? Might almost be useless. Andrea had it written down.
I almost had the same though. If you got it, play it if you had ANY doubt. For me, if everyone was talking blindside, I would have doubt. If everyone was walking the company/alliance line? STILL play it! I have to admit, she probably took getting voted off the best I have every seen. Disappointed, but not mad. Almost seemed amused. That moved her up in my book. It was strange to have two eliminations in one show. I thought Cochran was off the radar last week. Guess you just made a "blip". Things can change in a hurry out there. Another reason if you can just stay alive one more day, you never know what could happen. Eddie was on the bottom FOREVER. But I would not be surprised to see him in the final three now. Looks like another cry fest next week. Joy. If it ends up being a Dawn, Cheri, Brenda final? Most bland finish ever. Edited by Kido 2013-05-02 12:34 PM |

Just curious - how was the idol not "his"? I thought the accepted rule was that whoever found it, owns it? There's the rules, then there is real life. There are lines you do not cross in this game... because at some point if you make it to the end, you have to ask them to give you million bucks. Possession is 10/10th of the law. I'm sure that is the rule in Survivor. But stealing one, or acquiring one in a shady manner does not get you a million bucks, even if you have not broke a rule. Many times people have given idols to people to hold... what do you think would happen if they did not give them back? Remember those two girls fighting over one and they would not let go? Survivor did not step in, that was their problem to settle... but the "original owner" kept the idol, even though the other girl certainly could have kept it, and played it.... but what do you think would happen if she did? As far as this case... she told them the clue in good faith, so they all knew. The clue was hers. He could have kept it, he didn't. He played it smart. If he makes it to the end, which he could, he may have her vote as a stand up guy. |

Eric tweeted that it was "idol etiquette" and he would have made himself a target if he didn't give it to her. He won immunity after that so it worked out but if he went home I'm sure he would have felt foolish. |
