Brats, Beer, Fireworks, etc....I'M GOING TO SUZY'S!!! Nah, we'll be at the baseball diamond most of the weekend. 2 games tonight, 1 tomorrow, 2 Saturday, 2 or 3 Sunday. Andy, my 8 year old daughter just started riding 2 days ago (been working on it for 3 years) and now she won't get off the dang thing. She was ready to give up and wanted a scooter. I agreed...but only after she first learned to ride. Now that she can ride she's decided the scooter is a bad idea and wants a new bike. Samantha being here now reminds me of one of my all time favorite movie quotes - and please don't take offense Samantha. Are you all familiar with the movie "The Ladykillers?" One dude brings his girlfriend to the Waffle Hut where they all meet to work out their plan (they're thieves). He is greeted with "You brought your bi*ch to the Waffle Hut?!?!?" You can google that quote and it'll get to all kinds of stuff about it. BTW, it's a good movie. Welcome, Samantha. |

Vineman is only 2 weeks away and all of the long stuff is DONE, just a 2 hour bike on Sat. and a 90 minute run on Sunday...and just shorter workouts the rest of the way! Masters isn't really a team, the lanes will be set up based on how fast you are, slower usually to the left, faster to the right. Just tell them what you swim 100's in and they will put you in a lane. Coach puts up a workout and everyone swims it. Slower lanes don't always get in the whole workout but as you progress you will be able to. From what I have seen from the 2 different ones I have been to and heard from others is that if you have questions ask them. The coach will be trying to watch you and everyone else and might make suggestions if he sees something but if you have a specific something you want him to watch ask. Also John lol I was thinking the same thing, women always have something to trade... |

Usually you go a little early and the coach w/ ask some questions and stick you in a lane. Then practice starts and you're off. No big deal. Most groups are pretty laid back. The more questions and more help you ask for, the more you will get. Good luck! |

Just don't ask him right now b/c he is downstairs trying to destroy the portable a/c unit. How dare it not work properly w/o all of the correct pieces. MEN!!!! |
