Which race did you sign up for?? 

(info needed for stalking purposes... )

I will be doing the Pacific Crest Oly - It is in Bend, Oregon and supposed to be one of the better races in the Pacific NW.  Race day is Sunday, 6/30 - 9:00 a.m.

Google hangout?  I could probalby do that some time.  I have never heard of that. \

I want to know Yanti's whole story.  Is there a place I can find that?  Do you have a book or anything Yanti?

I also didn't know that Tyr clothing sucked.  Good to know.  I have one of their suits, and it seemed fine, and was considering getting some of their tri stuff, so thank you pod. 

A friend of mine has a pair of the cutest Fluevog boots.  Every time I see her in them, I want to snatch em, WWotW style. Pea soup green, just below the knee, beotchn, I tell you.  She also has size six feet.  Somehow I know I wouldn't be able to rock those boots.

I'm racing the Sprint Nationals in Milwaukee on August 11.  So, sometime around then.  I want to go down to Chicago for a day or two because we never do anything as just a small family and I think that's also really important.

That'll be exciting!!

We use Google Hangout at work for client meetings, but I've never used it at home, it's always been Skype so far - but I can change! 

It's not that TYR clothing "sucks" per se, I was more than a tad annoyed that in order to find a top that would even go over the tangerines I had to get an XL.  When put in comparison that all of my sports clothes (and regular clothes, though now everyone knows I have more athletic wear than anything else) are either SM or MED. 

I had the most rockin' pair of purple shoes that I loved... in the end there was no saving them so I clearly need a new pair.

The family thing is hugely important - I'm really looking forward to getting away with T for something that's just for fun.

OK, OK, tell me about this whole Age Group Nationals thing. 

I have no idea how any of this works, but the last few days I keep getting emails about it in my inbox--I guess I qualified for the sprint and Oly from the past two weekends.  IDK, the whole thing is confusing to a newb. I blew them off because I heard it was full and I thought, oh well, ok, next year.  But then today I got something about "VIP registration" (is that BS??) and being put on a waiting list.  I live closish to Milwaukee.  Should I try to get on the waiting list, or skip it and "do it right" next year?

Ok POD - quick question.  Anyone have any experience using the "live" tracking feature on Map My Ride?  

Anyone want to try and track my ride this evening and give me feedback?  Send me your Name / Username on Map My Ride and I will add you to my friends list.  I will be riding today at 3:00 p.m. PST.  (in approx 1 1/2 hours.)  

I want to see how this affects battery consumption, and if it works worth a darn.  Would be cool for family (and Manatee Stalkers) to track me during races.

Adorable weasels. Snapping Turtle? Not so much.

I got an overpriced but oh so nice pedicure at noon. Since I paid for the deluxe "stress reliever" she also massaged my hands. My muscles have stopped twitching. :-) I didn't know the muscles in my calves were sore until she started working on them. Ouch.

I'm taking an easy day today -- so I'm going to do some laundry and head to the pool for some light swimming. I may or may not run today since I don't want to mess up my feet. Sometimes I can be girly. Not often. But sometimes.

Shhhh. I had a pint of amber at lunch. I had to come back to the room and nap.

I mean a real nap, not a code nap. Hubby is at work.

To be honest, I didn't qualify.  I'm an Athena and there is no qualification standard for Athena/Clydesdale.  Yes, I'll probably be crazy slow compared to everyone else, but it's my home town and I think it will be really fun. 

AG Nats are the weekend of August 10th/11th in Milwaukee and you have to qualify to race in the Olympic distance (you can qualify either through racing a sprint or Oly distance), but I *think* the Oly race is full now. 

HOWEVER... anyone who wants (and if there's still slots available) can sign up for the sprint distance, which is what the DH and I did the other day. 

Sorry, I've never used it... I'm pretty hopeless at some of this stuff, I just have a Catseye bike computer on my bike and when it works (which it didn't at last week's race... however, it DID turn on as I was walking my bike out of T2 AFTER the race, the (insert appropriate number of curse words here) thing) so I'm not much help to you.

Yoga done

Guy behind me this morning packed up about 20 min before end (missing the best and most relaxing part!!!!). I took extra care not to subject him to too much buttage and/or boobage, and I even waited to eat the plate of black beans and chips until after class. Wonder if he'll show up next week. 

Also, what's up with the trippy "MEMBERSHIPS" font.  Is that some sort of subliminal thing?

The pedicure sounds heavenly - even with the sore calves.  I think sometimes the DH would like me to be more girly, but I'm just not.  Never have been, and I'm probably not going to start now... except with the beer thing.  I just don't like it.  Change the drink to wine, a G&T or even a cider and I'm there!
