Carla/Leah ~ keep at it and you'll be amazed at yourself.  We all started only being able to do a handful and here we are in week 6 or in Bob's case (Colesdad), doing the 100!

Speaking of which, where ya at Bob?  Isn't it about time we give each other a nice swift kick in the arse??

Hi Michelle. I'm around. Doing Week 3 Day 3 tonight. The good news is I kept a lot of my fitness even with the few weeks off. When I did Day 2 I maxed at 65 but probably could've pushed to 80 or so. I am going to swim 1st tonight so it'll be interesting to see if there's any effect. I have a new goal to do 50 pushups with my daughter on my back. I'm going to try that after getting through (hopefully) the 100 again.

I like to swim with my son (4) on my back.  Makes something that's easy for me much more challenging.

I'm pretty sure if I tried to do a clap push up I'd be in the ER with a broken face

You're a machine, Bob!   I bet Nicole will think that is the greatest!!  Sam just loves it when I do things like that with her.

MAN, I'm a total slacker!!!  I did an assessment test today to see where I was and I'm very sad to say that I've gone from doing 50 to 38.  If that's not a wake up call, I don't know what is.  Anyway, I will be starting back at week 3 tomorrow since it's a strength training day for me and please feel free to give me nice swift kick in the rear every now and then!!

Where the heck is everyone?

Kat, I'm rooting for you...you still doing your final tomorrow?

Neal, I see in your log that you're doing awesome on the push ups...few more days and you'll be doing the final also!  Oh, I wish I wouldn't have let myself slack!!!

I was supposed to do week 3/day 2 today but I didn't have my sheet with me so I did day 1 and added a few extra sets.

14/14/18/14/20/15/20 = 115

Wow, go Kat Go!!

I finished week 2 (did I say that before? - I meant week 1) Anyway, they weren't too bad but they play heck on my wrists. I may have to get some of those push up grips and see if they help. I wonder if they would let me try them in the store before I buy them.

I just did my first go on the 100 pushups and I have to say it was very dissapointing. I was just able to do 31!!!! Last week I squeezed out 50 (!) after doing several pushups in the preceding sets. But I just didn't have any juice in my arms today.... Not every day is the same and so I will try for 100 tomorrow again!

Thanks for the cheering on gals!!! So tomorrow another go at this!!!!!

And yes! Where is everybody???

I TOTALLY know what you mean about every day not being the same!  Some days I can knock these out without a second thought and other days I have a heck of a time just doing the first set.

Today I squeezed out 50... Much better than yesterday, but still not 100... the 50 seems to be my WALL right now... I guess, I will take another stroll through WEEK6 of the plan and hope to break the 50 one the way.

Happy Sunday!!!

Sorry I haven't been around much. I finally did the 100 tonight! Woo Hoo!!! I had to repeat week 6 3 times, but I got it done!

Now I have to figure out how to keep the momentum up for doing push-ups because I don't want to lose everything I've gained these last 8 weeks

You will do it, I have no doubt. I am not sure week 6 could be described as a stroll, but I am sure you will get to the end.

Have you tried doing the pushups on your fists?  That way your wrists are straight and in a stonger position.
