Week 3 totals have been logged and the women are pulling away.  Come on guys...I see way too many "0's" for week 3.  Not only are the ladies ahead but they are on track to be 100% or better as a team.  We've got 7 days to strap a set on (doesn't seem like guys should have to) and make a final surge for the finish.

Everyone needs to log their week 4 totals by 8am Tuesday (June 1) morning.  I'll make a final update to the spreadsheet around mid-day and we'll know which team needs to take some photos.

DAMN...I couldn't get my update to post...or so I thought.  Now you get to read it 3 TIMES with the wrong date

All swimming up to and including Tuesday May 31 will count.  I meant to say that all totals needed to be updated by Wednesday (June 1) at 9am.  For some reason I was sure that Tuesday was June 1.

Ladies, we are getting down to the wire and looking very good. Don't underestimate the boys; they can still bring up their numbers and pull ahead. You are all doing a FANTASTIC JOB of meeting your goals! I'm so proud to be on your team!! One more week and we will be admiring our competitors' collectively fine swimming form for a whole month (not to mention our victory poem in their signature).

Keep up the great work! I am back in the pool this week and will work hard to pull my numbers back up and reach my goal for May.

G O  T E A M  C H Y C K  G O !!!

p.s. Did anyone else notice that there are 7 days of smack-talking posts missing from this thread?

Let's keep this momentum up ladies...all the way to the finish line! We've got lots of ladies knocking on the door of 100%. Every little bit counts!

GO TEAM CHYCK!!!

Sorry, I got ya.  Right now I've got you for 3,932m...according to your log.  Your goal is 15, 000 yards so you've got about 12,000 yards to pick up in the next 8 days...you can pull that off!  It would be a big help to the team.

So ladies, if you want to exceed your goal, keep it under 146%...and it looks like many will exceed their goals!  GREAT JOB!!!  Think how good you'll look in your suit June 1st-and guys, you'll have to use your imagination, 'cause you won't get to see ; )

Elaine, don't take the bait. It's easier to blame Chycks for their lack of performance than to explain or improve on their lack of performance. Seems some members of Team Boys need swim-viagra.

Is that the INTJ in me coming out? Let me shift back into Nicey Girl mode...

Don't worry! Be happy! We're winning... but we haven't won YET! I'm back in the pool tomorrow.

Take a look at their blogs. Unless, of course, you were just kidding in calling them "sandbaggers."

Wasn't trying to sandbag...just took an average swim month and pledged that...of course that was before I knew I had a BROKEN HIP and couldn't run therefore having to increase swimming and biking this month maintain some sembelance of fitness.

Excuse me for trying to train with an injury.  so SORRY I went over my goal and am at a 146%  I'm just trying to get faster at something since I can't train my weak event.
