Technically it's everybody who has been in a race.

That's what I was thinking!

Just signed up.  A couple of my races weren't there.  Maybe because they were small local races?

If you have a link to results for the race, you can email it to them and they will put them in. Might take a couple weeks for that, but it's worked the few times I've done it. They get a lot of races, but not always everything.

How we test shoes?....We put them on Salty and make her run miles on a treadmill. I didn't read it yet, but I'm pretty sure that's what it will say

Stacey,

What did you decide to do about the bike computer situation?  Fix up the Sigma?  Use your phone and something like the Wahoo Fitness speed/cadence sensor with that?  A multisport watch like one of the Garmins?

Just curious.

When does Jazz move in?

thanks to Toms suggestion I googled to make sure that I had the Sigma sincing properly and the YouTube video said "if it isn't working check this..." it turns out the battery sensor was bent. I fixed that and now it works again so no need to buy a new one, at least not until I get my new bike anyway. Maybe if I buy a 2015 model at full price I can get them to heavily reduce one, or maybe I can wait until Cyber Monday - when is that again? Oh and Jazz moves in on Friday night. What's one more into the mayhem.

One-a-mastiff, two-a-mastiff, three-a-mastiff, FOUR! Five-a-mastiff, six-a-mastiff, seven-a-mastiff, MORE!

Just about spewed my tea when I read this!!

Cool, 'cause I can't get tapiriik to work. It says it's syncing but my stuff never shows up in Strava!

welcome home Buttons!! YAY! SO CUTE!

Kirsten - sounds like you did more work on the farm than IM! (JK OF COURSE LOL)

anyone find Chris' picture yet?? LOL Not sure I'm ready for it though!

Athlinks - yep, I'm on it. DH uses it to stalk the competition before (and after) races. Meh, It's kinda nice to have all my official results in one place. If they don't have one of your races there is a form to request to have it added.

Janyne I saw that Garmin is announcing auto syncs - 'bout time! YAY!

Happy Wednesday all!

OMG it's already hump day!

get back to work, will ya?

I can't find a specific form to have a race added.  Is it just the regular contact form here: https://athlinks.zendesk.com/anonymous_requests/new or is there someplace else?

Whine time.

Okay, first, the good stuff. #1: Mutti is happy and healthy. That's huge.
#2: I'm happy, as a state of being, and often a feeling.
#3: We have financial resources.

I'm going to have to fire Mutti's 1st caretaker when she gets back. The 2nd caretaker now can only work 2 days/week (occasionally more). What this means is that I need to find 2 new caretakers. For those of you who have been here through these endless cycles, you know how miserably difficult and time-consuming that is. A lot of it too is timing: the instant someone (really good) available gets posted, I need to be one of the first callers or it's not going to happen (and I need 5-7 happenings to get 1 fitting candidate, who then may or may not take the job of course). The catch is that in taking care of Mutti 24/7 (and I get -poor sleep 'cause I've always got an ear out for her and there's usually one or two nocturnal wanderings), I can't stay on top of trying to find a new caretaker.

We're also not going to have #3 if I can't squeeze in some minimum of work. Murphy's Law is happening with our company right now ...

So here are my great plans.

Above all, I'm going to pray and meditate. If there's a God, and I believe there is, and evidence for me personally to that end is great, daily, infinite, blah blah, God will help. If there's no God, doesn't matter. I'll stay (relatively) sane and out of jail.

1 - I'm going to offer a HUGE finder's fee to anyone who finds us a decent, even temporary, caretaker.
2 - I'm going to make my brother commit to a regular schedule of certain hours on Mutti watch so that I can do shyte that really needs doin'.

That's all I got. Any ideas? So tired tonight I shampooed my hair with acne wash and washed my body with conditioner. Whatever, I'm clean (enough).

Search for the name of your race, when it can't find it, manually enter your results.  It will prompt you for an event URL and a results URL.

Well.....I am officially signed up for my first road race cat 5. Nervous, excited, scared. I'm having a blast on the bike right now tho. And for the most part I've been riding pretty well so I really can't wait to see how it goes. I plan to just stay in the pack for the first part and try and learn as much as I can while staying out of the wind. Never dreamed I would be doing this!

With Garmin Connect, Strava, BT logging, Training Peaks (which by the way I have separated from my coach), I just don't need another website to take up my time. So I am going to try and avoid setting up Athlinks

Other than Garmin Connect, I am here as well. The last thing I need is more. Anything.

Upload

(Device on the left will be selected by default.  Do nothing on the left.)

Garmin > Get Started > Connect

If this doesn't get you straight, check out the DC Rainmaker post (link above) which has photos on how to set it up.

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
