no joke to finding a likewise fitness minded... I need a gal that unceremoniously kicks me off the side of the bed at 4:30 in the morning and tells me to get the hell out there and get my run in. tough love and all that.

I too am not looking for a life partner just someone that would enjoy biking and running with me cause in my spare time it's pretty much spent training for ultras - most that claim to be extreme active walk a couple times a week or ride a harley hehe

I hate that.  People don't seem to understand what "active" means.  If your heart rate doesn't get up and you don't sweat....it doesn't count.  There is a difference in going for a walk (stroll) and "walking", and there is a big difference between walking and running.

Hey, whatever happened with the spin instructor? She's active for sure.

Nothing - I never saw her again.  It wasn't from a lack of trying, I even re-arranged a couple of my workouts to go in when she was supposed to teach - and she wasn't there.  I wonder if someone warned her I was coming!

I think that was the last class she taught - she got sick, never worked again.  Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be.

small town outside of harrisonburg, va at base of massanutten resort. we sit in the shenendoah valley. beautiful sun rises and sets over the mountains. would be fantastic except for alll the idiot travelers......and this from a past traveler that fell in love with the serenity of the mountains and moved here from DC.

Hey now, I'm having a blast with the online dating thing. I just don't think you can take it (or yourself) too seriously.
Isn't the point to find a companion and a match not to play games?

Oh the differences between men's thinking and women's thinking

I'd already said it wasn't true for me. I'm very much enjoying my current "not necessarily a match but damn he's fine" dalliance.

I relate more to the figure on the left. But then again, I have always liked blue more than pink.

"I have really long hair right now, I'm growing it out for the Locks of Love program. I am about 1" away from being able to cut it off. Just giving you fair warning."

Yet all of his photos are with very short hair.
I'm almost intrigued enough to meet up just to see the hair.

Ha. The guy I'm hanging with now had long hair in all his pics, and in his profile stated that he'd cut it all off and that it was fuzzy-length.

I was intrigued, too.

I definitaly associate with the male more than female in this pic.... now if only someone had a pic of a bike a guy a girl a bike...same arrows.  then it would be perfect.

Love the humor in this thread! I ditched the cool triathlete girl I was hanging out with, and now am dating a runner (oh my!) but I honestly think the date I had with her on Wednesday was probably the best or one of the very best dates I've ever had! I am so crazy about this new person in my life; I hope the fun continues (five dates so far).

Classic dating moment in my life...."I think you are a beautiful woman, and you obviously have a lot to offer someone. Before we go any further, I need to disclose that my situation is atypical. In fact, I am not divorced, separated or single. I'm married, but my wife and I have reached an understanding"

Wow! Translation: "My wife has been sleeping around for a while, I just found out, so I get a "hall pass" too.

Would a woman really be interested in dating a guy that was already married, even if he had an "understanding" with the wife?

Honestly, how many woman would accept that in a marriage?  I've never met any in my life.
