Plus, the boots were WAY cheaper!!!!!! ^^^^Funny how that happens. And I can't remember the last pair of non-running related shoes I bought. Hmmm... J got a pair of Hoka Cliftons a couple of weeks ago. Will be interesting to see what he says about them after Sunday. They are sooooo light compared to how they look, and the sole doesn't look as high as the others I've tried on.

No question about it. It's my first 10k ever and I have every intention of doing it. It's conveniently close to home too so I can get out of my wet clothes and into a hot shower right away. If I can run when it's 9*, snowing and dark like I did on Tuesday, I can totally do this. Plus there's pie whipped cream. How could I not? |

That's gorgeous weather, but not perfect racing weather. 50*s would be ideal. Oh well, it's way better than it could be! |
