We love the NE, it is beautiful country and the weather suits us. Today feels like the beginning of Fall. My weather station says it is currently 62F. Fingers crossed, our goal is to move to Portugal next year and, god willing and the crik don't rise, it will be a permanent move. Life is like a box of chocolate, eh? Be safe, everyone. I hope you all survive the pandemic in good health. |

In fact, I married a man that I met through BT and our local triathletes! We've been married 11 years and have 3 boys. I haven't done anything in the way of training or racing in most of that time. I did a stand-alone half marathon (my one and only) back in 2014 (I think). I've signed up for another half-mary this fall and I'm just beginning training for that. Hope everyone is well and life has treated you kindly. Many ups and downs over here including some big losses of close family members recently, but I count myself as blessed to have a wonderful husband, beautiful children, and a comfortable life. Yeah I started getting some success, but after getting married I slowed down the triathlon training. Tough to keep up training 14 hours a week with kids. I did move to a new hobby. I've been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about 6.5 years. It's done a great job keeping the competitive side of me happy. Crazy how much quieter this place has gotten. |
