I wasn't even a very good mathmetician due to test anxiety. *geek TOPpage* apparently, with the amount of math I needed for engineering, I was only a couple hours/math electives from a minor, and just a few more from a double major. They offered it to me, and I ran out of the advisors office screaming and pulling out my hair. Edited by Aikidoman 2009-01-14 12:45 PM |

By the time Calc 3 hit, I was done with math. I even like stats and Diff. Eq. linear alg., but my eyes glazed over in Calc III with linear series and triple integrals, etc.... Calc I was okay, then when Calc II came, I was focked. I had a recovery during Calc III. My best and favorite was "Diffy Que" which was a 3-week interim class. That was fun! |

Davenport, IA | Subject: RE: TAN #64 - A Case of Temporary InTANity You know why people don't want to buy American cars Detroit? THEY DON'T WORK! I just had to jumpstart my company car (07 Impala) off of my personal car ('06 Scion tC that hasn't been driven since Nov) because the battery is bad in the Impala, again. How many tries did it take for the Scion to start? 1. This is the third time in the first 36.5k miles that it's needed jump starting/towing for electrical problems. This is the same problem I had with my last Chevrolet (an '05 Silverado). I'm f-ing sick of this. |

I picked my school because I moved to Richmond, didn't have a job, and VCU was close with a program I wanted. You should have a lot of options fairly close. I know William and Mary has a distance learning center in Newport News that is catered towards people with jobs. Not sure what classes they offer. |

He was trying to say that most American cars are fine and we should bail them out. I very much disagree. He also said that he doesn't see a reason that they should discontinue any lines (I suggested Hummer). His friend's wife just LOVES her Hummer and why should she have to buy anything else. I decided to not continue this discussion. |

I decided to not continue this discussion. I don't mind the bailout if they actually come out of this time competitive, but just like everything else we're bailing out, the government wants them right back the way they were before. I've got a solution to fix GM: Cut Buick, Pontiac, and Hummer, and maybe GMC. That gives you Chevrolet for Trucks, SUV's and large cars, Cadillac for luxury, and Saturn for smaller more efficient cars. Chrysler: Make something that people (other than rappers) actually want to buy. Ford? Sadly enough, Ford is probably in the best place of the three. But we've bailed them out, they're going to keep going as-is. Making a product that was once hoped to compete with Honda and Toyota, but is now struggling to best Hyundai. Instead of making things that work they've added gimmicks. Sure I love the built in phone of Onstar (Until I have to pay for it every month) or the remote start that's on my Impala. Until the car won't start anyway. That's it for my rant of the day. |

I'll post what I was going to say here: I call myself agnostic, but not because I might reject God. I actually accept the Christian God, just not exclusively. I think there are a lot of possibilities and I can't really settle on one. Does that mean I don't pray? Or try to live well? Not at all. I just can't say that other people are wrong or that I have the right answers. |

I just can't say that other people are wrong or that I have the right answers. Yeah, I've been pretty frustrated with my church lately, because I don't think the community is very conducive to the spiritual growth of those of us who aren't cradle-Christians. It's like every week, the pastor is preaching to the choir. And that annoys me. And so I've been church-shopping, because I don't want my faith to stagnate anymore or I know I'll try to turn back to where I was before, which wasn't exactly horrible, but I know it's not right. |
