But general rule of thumb- make sure your bike pump is labeled with your name. And make sure to pump up your tires and get it out of transition before anyone sees you with it  If not EVERYONE will want to borrow it and you may not get it back. It's nice to help others, but if you end up loaning it to one person it will get handed off to another, and another, and so on. Next thing you know some stranger 100 racks over will have your pump And I'm really not exaggerating.Edited by runnergirl 2009-09-23 3:35 PM |

I tried mine with a diffrent wheel and magnet and it worked. Glued that magnet onto my race wheel now everything is good inside my head. I never new a magnet could go bad. Leave it to me. |

Anyplace over that way that would carry the aquaseal glue to fix it up or do I need to stop at all3sports or some such place on my way over from 'Bama? I am assuming there will be an expo type retail area and since this is a wetsuit swim.....ya think I could roll the dice and see if they have anything. It's not a huge cut but I am afraid it will continue to tear if I don't get on it. |

I have only done 6 sprints, 1 oly and all this year. I was not nervous at all about this race and have trained on this course for quite sometime, so I have had it my my head that it is like any race I have done this year, but after reading all your comments about being nervous you are now FREAKING ME OUT!! Just kidding, I am treating this like any other race except bringing on some extra nutrition. Newbie ignorance or zen master? Brian- are you going to be wearing that muscle tri suit for the race this weekend? And like you- I'm treating this like any other race. It's more of a long training day for me since IM Couzmel is my "A" race. I will be!! It is too crazy not to wear!! Did my own version of a race plan yesterday that helped calm me down some, including the final transition for beer and barbeque! |
