Artemis - 2009-09-17 3:03 PM I went to get a toasted sesame bagel with butter.  I got a sesame bagel with butter.  Not the same!  The one girl at the bagel place never toasts them!

I think I'm done whining now

go look for chris brown, he's apparently doing community service on some highway in richmond RIGHT NOW.  (just got a random email from a celeb gossip obsessed bff)

i wanna go but my car is getting fixed.

oh and i'm "working"

If I see him on my drive home, I'll call you.  And try to take a pic.  I'm leaving soon.

Artemis - 2009-09-17 2:29 PM I feel like this might turn into a running gag like Tony and Chipotle.

It's like people in the food industry really don't hear him when he talks about sour cream. On Sunday he made sure it was served "on the side" so it wouldn't contaminate his food. And guess where it ended up? Right on top of all his nom-noms. I'll admit... I laughed out loud.

Good luck.  My two older boys were in Karate (not Karate America) and went through the program to the 1/2 way point (purple belt).  The cost started to get a little pricey with all the extra cost that was needed to join one of the two "teams" to continue on, and then the sparring equipment cost, etc.  We bowed out due to that.  Plus, I found it frustrating that some kids advanced because they made their X number of days to be allowed to test to the next level even though they didn't have the same skill set as those kids that worked harder and such.  I do applaud the kids for getting out there and trying their best, but, some kids didn't appear to be trying any harder.  That wasn't right.

They're probably already there.  There was a report when he and Wave(bacon)Dog left a couple of pages ago.

Guy in my tri club is selling his P3C... with HED race wheels... my size. I wantz it. I wantz it bad. I know it's not the smart thing to do right now, but after signing up for IMWI this last weekend I know I'm going to be on the bike for the next whole year and it makes me want to upgrade.

If I could sell my bike for a decent amount, it wouldn't seem so bad in my mind. But really... do I really need to drop $2K (after selling my bike) on a new one? Sigh.

He's offering for anyone who is interested to ride it this weekend after Redman. It's tempting.

I've been whining to Tom for about 3 months now about wanting a new bike. I'mna test ride it this weekend and see what it feels like. She's pretty - the red/black/white scheme.

You're even counteracting the n+1 rule by going (n+1)-1 when you sell your current steed. DO IT.

In my old dojo, we would call that a belt factory.  And more than anything, it does a disservice to the kids being "given" the belt.  They will think they are better than they really are and could really get hurt if things were to go wrong in real life situations.  That and we would kick their butts at competitions and they could never understand why.

For realsies.  I was born there, lived there again from 4th to 6th grade, and my crazy parents retired there so I get to visit often.  Parts of OKC are OK, and Norman isn't totally awful, but they can keep the rest of it.

[Joke]Why doesn't Texas fall off into the Gulf of Mexico?  Because Oklahoma sucks so hard![/Joke]
