I had one of those days yesterday where nothing was enough!  Ever have one of those?  A typical day in my life is a morning with LF yogurt/cottage cheese and fresh fruit, a salad with protein for lunch and then lean meat and veggies for dinner.  Maybe a square of dark chocolate for dessert.  Some fruit or nuts as a snack.  NOT YESTERDAY!!

I had this insane craving for a fried egg and so I gave in... and then just kept giving in.  I wonder what the caloric intake was for all this!!
-Fried egg on slice of rye with butter & tomato
-1% cottage cheese & blueberries
-peach
-small handful of trail mix
-chinese soup with veggies, chicken & cantonese noodles - the BIG bowl
-orange
-one of my kid's mini bags of Smartfood
-1c homemade chicken fried rice
-Korean chap chae (basically starch noodles with sesame oil & lean beef)
-banana
-3 squares dark chocolate
-some spoonfuls of ice cream
Ummmm I think that may have been it.  I hope that was it!!! Needless today I'm munching on a salad now and seem to be back on track.   On a plus note - I didn't have alcohol yesterday Laughing

I KNOW!! The funny thing is... I wasn't full.  At lunch I actually felt a bit light headed (hence the big bowl of soup) and all I did yesterday was run in the morning.

The other odd thing - my weight hasn't budged in ages yet in the last week I've had a handful of people tell me I'm losing weight so/too quickly.  That you can see it in my face.  My clothes definitely are getting bigger.  (not like you can tell from my horrible race pics!!!)  I'll chalk it up to high volume training but I gotta get my diet under control before the taper or I might explode! eek!

Some of your choices were pretty healthy.....others were not so great but we can't vonstantly eat pure.  I guess that would have to be considered the cheat day!!

Whatever you are doing must be working. One big binge isn't going to make or break it. (this is coming from someone who won a donut eating contest).

Took a major over the handlebars biff on the cross bike at a practice session last night.  This happened about half way through the session - I cleaned up, finished, and rode home still

I am sure I will be sore for a while after this one - feels like I hit a mack truck but you should see the ground where I landed - it took the worst of it LOL

Well if it's true that these things happen in threes then as a group we're done.  You - Laura - and this morning I did a face plant.  DONE!  Let's close that book and move on!  YOUCH!!! I'm too old for this

I agree!!! I trying to focus on what I can do (biking, swimming) but how I miss my runs! Both for mental and physical health.

I am hiding the scale. I got on it this morning and was heavier!!! No way! Of course it is temporary and water or whatever but it still messes with my mind. I am vowing to get on it the wretched thing no more than twice a week.

You should name the snake in your picture Georgia, as it is the "peach snake."

I know I know, they don't get any better.  Apologies in advance for any future lame play on words.  Anyways, Cam great to have ya back.
