I don't care. I am not canceling my titanium taser order! :P

Nor should you.  A titanium taser would be awesome.

I think so, too.

But maybe I'm biased.....

Hi gang,
It pains me to say this, but I must drop out of this month's challenge.  I was selected to a jury in a criminal case today and they are telling us the case could go 2+ weeks.  We're not sequestered, but the trial is in Philadelphia, which is an hour and a half away.  I might be able to slip in a workout or two here and there, but it's going to be very spotty.  Good luck and KICK @SS!!!

Ewwwwwwwww.

As to whether that ^^^ refers to the jury duty or Philadelphia... well, I'll let you decide.

Actually, I don't mind Philadelphia. Except that someone tried to break into my car the last time I was there....

Sorry to see you have to drop out. That is a lot of driving time...what a PITA!!  YOu must have not been opinionated enough in the selection process.  Should have told them about Dee and her taser collection!!

Dee doesn't have much luck with jury duty. Not only does she usually manage to get herself selected, but her big mouth ends up causing her to be voted Jury Foreperson.

Hm. Maybe I should mention my taser collection the next time I get called?

Can I change my goals?  Why you ask?  well....apparently I am not so young anymore - I injured myself shoveling snow on Thursday (snow is evil, eeeeeeeeeevillllllll) and today is the first day I've been able to walk without extreme pain and assistance from my wife.  I have MORE pt to do now and running is probably out (I have been diagnosed with a back strain and probable bulging disc).  I will have trouble making my run goal and my ab sessions, I think.  Having double PT - well, I should blow that out of the water now....and biking - I dunno.  So....what do i do folks?  I hate to drop out.  I have good drugs.....Darvocet and steroids (6 day supply I think).

Yes, you can revise/set new goals. But don't risk injuring yourself.

And yes, snow is evil. Really eeeeeeeeeevillllllll.

Really well, thanks for asking!  Of course we still have our trials and such but he's doing sooooooo well right now behaviorally.  On the medical side, not great.  He keeps having asthma issues and he has the permanent snots.  The doctor put him on Singular but and it helped for a bit but stopped.  I think we are headed to ENT soon.  Never a dull moment!!

Logged 5 more miles for the T&C team.  I ran outside and it was 7 degrees with the windchill.  Tomorrow it will be a balmy 20 degrees with the windchill.   It's a heat wave for the next 10 days! a bonus is sunshine!!!!!  Yesterday I didn't wear enough on my legs and it was minus 1 with the windchill and I got that feeling like I was getting stuck with hundreds of needles in my legs(just when I was thinking...."why have I been such a wimp, this isn't bad at all"  and I didn't need a taser because I have been getting in my workouts!

6 miles running-slogging that's jogging through the sludge... tomorrow and maybe a swim.

Nice job battling nature and getting that run in!

I haven't been able run for 2 months and have been on the tready lately per doc's orders.  The other day when it was hovering around 0 I was thinking about how nice it would be to be able to go outside and run.  It's kinda sick that I miss the cold weather running.  There's always next winter I guess!

Yeah!  I didn't realize I was taking in so many calories.  Huh.  I'm not too happy but I am doing better today.  Down side is that I am hungry!  Gonna wait for lunch until after I run.  Off to do that now!

Nope, changed my mind.  I'm too hungry.  Eating then running.
