blueyedbikergirl - 2011-11-16 2:23 PM I'm already packed and ready for our weekend away... a bit too excited perhaps?

I have been having a hard time sleeping for my weekend.  I wish I just had a traveling buddy for the car trip.

You got a race or something?

(kidding - kidding)

haha/  But seriously, sometimes I wonder why I do this...  It makes no sense and it's going to hurt.

Morning, TAN. Had a stressful day yesterday at work, but my boss reassured me this morning that what I thought might have been a BIG problem isn't a problem at all, so I feel a lot better today. Also, feel better cuz I have another date night planned tonight.

Oh, and the XL Tim Horton's coffee is helping, too.

Hiya Pete!  Glad work is better for you today... I'm trying NOT to actually do anything today but getting thwarted at every turn which I think is just pure evilness.   Have fun on the date... but not too much fun... but enough fun that you'll want to tell us all about it tomorrow.

I know it's completely un-Canadian of me, but I can't stand Timmy Ho's... tastes like swill to me.

Oh, it's not GOOD coffee. I really don't like the taste, either, but it's fast, cheap and easy, and they know how to put cream cheese on a bagel, if you know what I mean. The coffee is usually pretty awful at the stores (the home grinds aren't bad), but it's such a staple...

Whew!  For a moment, I thought I was going to get a typical Canadian beat-down for my dislike of Tim Horton's... but holy dayum do I ever miss their bagels & cream cheese.  I don't care if it is a staple... it's a bad tasting staple!

Nope, no beat down here It is definitely not wonderful, but neither is McD's, and I don't even know where a Starbucks or anything else is around here... haha

So my hotel in Geneva ... it was the nicest hotel in which I've ever stayed. And I've stayed in some nice ones. The level of service I received was nothing short of amazing.
