Weight down from last Friday but BF% up (plus weight up from Wed morning weighin Cry).

Decent week running, not quite so riding.   4 days of cardio over 45 minutes in one session, a couple of other runs and 5 days of my short commute to work.

Got in 2 of the 3 strength sessions

Very sporadic nutrition this week.  Nothing I would say was good or well done.

overall nutrition was ok for calories/protein, fat cal/car probably a little higher than normal.  believe i'm a fat person living in a skinny body. just love food to much.  did notice that even if i did stray off healthy food i was ok as long as i kept it in portion. ex.  the other day had 3 perogies with olive oil instead of a plate full fried in butter.

anyway weight was finally down good (started 169 now 163).  looked back on old racing training logs and found that i lost weight in 5lbs then stabilized for a few weeks then another 5lbs.  seems thats what i'm doing again

With taking my wife out for dinner this week for her birthday, Halloween, and not getting all my workouts done this week, I'm going to chalk the fact that I didn't gain weight in the win column for the week.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Can I play?   I am Scott. I used to be active on this website but kind of fell away. Just happened to jump on and see this string.

I am at 225 right now and want to get down to about 185 before my "A" race next year - Rev 3 Cedar Point in September. (Haven't been under 200 in about 15 years) Unfortunately the last two years I have put on 15- 20 pounds in Nov. and Dec.

Activities - I have a coach and she has me weight lifting right now along with cardio. Just trying to get fit again before we hit the triathlon routine.

Nutrition - Horrific at best.  However tomorrow I start a 35 day experiment of keeping track of my nutrition on my blog for the world to see..hopefully it will make me accountable.

Down a little over a pound this wek. Right on track.Kind of a poor week for working out. Started the week with the stomach flu, and then thenyoungest battled it the rest of the week (leading to some short nights)Ate pretty well, though. This next week will be trouble, though. Leaving in the morning for the cabin and deer hunting until wed. Bacon eggs in the morning and grease and beer in the evening. I'll make an effort at portion control, though.'See' you thursday!

OMG, I am sore and tired and totally ruined my diet today.  I didn't eat a whole lot while I was moving, and I think I made up for it today.  I just couldn't satiate my hunger.

I'll get back on the bus, though, don't worry.

Last week 209.8

This week  205.4

Might be a bit of water weight loss but hey i am taking it. Guess I have to bust my  butt this week to make the numbers stand.

Bought a new scale today.  Wasn't planning on it but I replaced the battery about a month ago and the last few days when I have weighed myself before and after my shower it would go from 119ish to 126ish.

New scale has me at 118.2.  Not bad for being sick (sore throat and coughing up a storm) and no workouts.

Weekend here... Long ride (4 hrs) for me, upper body and core weight session today. I've been horrible this week and need to refocus my commitment to losing some weight. Like this morning. Now.

Long run tomorrow, 10 miles, then some easy laps in the pool if i don't have any other commitments. So my aerobic system is gonna be burning pretty hard this weekend.

Switched up my strength routine a little yesterday and I can feel it today - a good thing, I suppose! Last half mary of the year is next weekend, so I should at least pretend I'm tapering.

Last night was my cheat meal - pizza. So good. Completely worth it. Back to being good today.

Got my ultra slow long run in today rather than tomorrow. It is going to rain and I could see myself not doing it at all or doing part of it on the tm instead.

I finally caught up on logging my food too. I am doing that every day for at least this month to keep me honest.

How about the NYC Marathon Challenge for Sunday.  Don't know where everyone's plans are but there are 28 people on the spreadsheet.  Do you think among us we could cover 4 times the distance  of the marathon that is not being run tomorrow.  That would be 104.8 miles.  (It would be easier if some folks have long runs scheduled tomorrow Wink

abbie, i blame this on you.  usually when i go to a buffet i eat good,  but tonight i got 3 plates of this and a salad, no dressing even. never went to the good food. just sat there and smelled it. again this is your fault Laughing.  i managed to squeeze in a 25 mile ride in 37degree weather, with light rain showers thrown in as a bonus

Darn, I'm in full on taper mode and have no run until Monday.  I did 7.8 today though.

For the first day of me actually following through on nutrition I did pretty good.  The only set back was grabbing some mac'n'cheese off the kid's plate.  I think logging everything is really going to help.

I joined in with a fundraiser tomorrow to run miles and donate money to the relief effort.  However, since I can't run, I'll by cycling my 26.2 miles.  Perhaps we could do something like that here?

I could do 2 hours of yoga in place of the run.
