Luckily, we were on the good side of the hurricane. Still no power. I'm working on not being dehydrated before the race! LOL! It's a getting hot down here again. Just looked at the forum on the Longhorn web site. As of Sept. 24, the temp was at 89 degrees. This was also posted: The Decker Creek Power Station uses the lake for cooling water (which means water gets returned to the lake warmer than it started). The chances of the hot water tap being turned off are pretty slim! |

Shoot, I did a 7:15 last year and I walked the ENTIRE RUN with a 14 minute mile. So yeah Bonny, stop talking crazy. You can beat my butt on a bike any day and you can run the half marathon with 9 minute miles. |
