I'm having the same issue. Updated my Garmin Connect yesterday and was able to upload yesterday's workout then. Tried this morning using both Firefox and IE, with the 305 off and on... can't get it to work. No problem uploading to the Garmin test page. I can import the workouts to SportTracks, no problem, and they're in the same day I'm trying to upload to here. BT seems not to find the device:

That was my problem too. I had .net instead of .com.  Puttting .com also solved the problem I had trying to look at routes.

I asked this over in the support forum.  The lap and hr data/splits is still a performance member feature.

Ah, thanks. Pity. For me, uploading the time and distance I ran/biked actually takes about as long as just typing it in. It's the lap data that forms the bulk of the typing. Ah well, it is free, so can't complain to much :-) Thanks for the info.

According to Garmin, Communicator will work with Intel-based or PowerPC G4 or later Mac OS 10.4 or later with Firefox 2.0+ or Safari 2.0+.

Any plans to make BT compatible with the Forrunner 210?

We will be making it compatible with newer Garmins that use the .FIT file format. It's the next largish project in the pipeline after a couple of smaller ones.

It may take a little while as it going to require all new uploading infrastructure, server side file handling and some serious user interface work.  This is because the differences between the previous file format (tcx) and the new one (FIT) are quiet stark. Kind of like going from a gas to an electric vehicle. They do pretty much the same thing, but under the hood it's totally different.   We're also going to use this an opportunity to get a couple of other related things done at the same time.

I have a personal motivation to get this done as I was tired of not being able to upload from my Edge 500 a couple of months ago.

Just bought a Garmin 305 this week and upladed my 1st workouts tonight using this - very cool! Makes logging workouts a snap.  Thanks a lot BT!
