Thank you guys so much. Thank you welshy for being so supportive and dealing with me stressing for over a week. Yes I finished 3rd out of 5, I am happy I didn't finish last, however, I think I would have been just as happy either way, but wouldn't have gotten a cool trophy and new race tires

Mmm....a burrito sounds so good. I had a hamburger in the finish area, and 2 more yesterday. I'm still craving meat. (wahoo...4 days) lol.

Again, thank you guys so much. Welshy and Jess (tri take me away) can say I wasn't in the best mental state after the race, even yesterday it hadn't really sunk in. It was strangely anti-climactic, maybe because of the exhaustion or pain, who knows.

Will work on my race report asap.

I was in 20-24, finished in 16h 4min roughly. I finished with a beer and the announcer said thats a 2 minute penalty. I don't know if they really gave me one or not but I don't care, the fans that were still there at that hour (not that many) got a kick out of it. The site doesn't have my offical time or splits up now. Not going to finish my race report until that is loaded...I've got work to do.

By the way: I did not get emotional (crying) before, during or after the race. Again, strangely anti-climactic. However, I get to work this morning and there are 2 cards from Runnergirl wishing me luck on the race, motivation, etc. I started balling. Here I go again as I type....shit.

An Iron Princess and a really nice person.  Great job, Haley.  All in all this has been a pretty good year for you.   I couldn't be happier for you.

It is definitely under consideration. My scheduled races for next year will have to be sacraficed though, so we'll see.
