Ravens Vs 49ers Super Bowl who you got? (Page 2)

I was tired of it two weeks ago.

I'm not a hater. In fact, I really like to watch greatness. I wanted the Pats to go undefeated. I wanted Manning to go to the big show again... and win. I wanted to see the Pats go again... But Lewis comes back, announces retirment, walks through two of the best QBs to EVER play the position, and has one more chance at a championship... and with all that... meh. It's hard to get excited for Ray. I don't dislike him. One of the best to ever play the position. Manning and Brady's opposite equal... just... ehhh. Already dreading the post win speech.

I didn't quite know what to make of this...but I can tell you, I know someone personally who was a medical professional that worked with Mr. Lewis.  He was incredibly kind, nice, and has been a very religiously devout individual (at least since he's been in the NFL).  Honestly, what you are seeing with Ray Lewis IS Ray Lewis.   

If you are asking who I think will win, I've got nuthin'.  If you're asking who I'll root for, I typically root for the underdog.  Since Flacco's from U. of Delaware, I gotta root for Joe.  As a Vikings fan, I guess it's easy to lean purple!  

I like the Harbaugh coached team with the awesome linebacker.

I have no doubt that he is kind, nice, and very religious.  I just don't understand why he must wait until every camera is on him before he drops to his knees, cries, etc.  Nothing against him at all but I could do without all the "on camera drama"  why does he never collapse on the sideline near his entire team?  that's all I'm talking about.  the praising the lord, crying, excitment...everything else is fine, just the waiting for the camera stuff.

The bright lights of the Super Bowl seems to jack everyone up. Usually, maturity counts. Usually, defense matters. In that respect... Ravens have it.

I actually think it is going to be a really good game. They are both pretty evenly matched.

One team has an awesome linebacker (well, 2), the other team had an awesome linebacker.

End zone seats $2130. Mid field $13'800. $20'000 per ticket for luxury area seats.

Anyone going ? 

Thats a lot of money when you can sit at home in comfort and watch it on a 60 inch TV in HD. Plus there are no lines for the restrooms at home, usually.

Keep hatin' on the Ravens.  We love it.

We did the math for our family of three doing the "once in a lifetime trip blah blah blah" and figured out we could spend two weeks in Europe or South America flying business class and staying at first class hotels, or six weeks at our usual vacation spot in Mexico, for the same price.  Yikes.

We are having a tough time deciding if we are going to be allowed to leave the basement during the game (you know, 'cause we are undefeated watching them there and we DEFINITELY influence the game's outcome) and go to somewhere here in the city. 

Is future hall of fame linebacker ambiguous enough so I can still pick both teams?

Said it before, I'll say it again; I am sick of the Ray Lewis' histrionics and of the media worship.

What Quarterback was the first sack by Ray Lewis?  Just heard it this morning on sports radio.

Also heard that ESPN or Nfl network (not sure which one ) are already courting Ray to be part of their shows as soon as he retires.   Ugh.

Jim Harbaugh (Coach of the 49ers) was the first QB that Ray Lewis ever sacked. And yea, I have heard he is being courted for an analyst job. He can pretty much write his own ticket after the SB.

Are you saying blood brothers? I thought they were just meant football. Why HASN'T that been mentioned?
