Hey!  Finally got the website working. The secret: Hit refresh a thousand times on your browser. One of the times, it will load.

And trix was grooving at an 11 min pace that last section. Either it's downhill, she's getting impatient, or she's singing dirty rap songs so her mind is off her Suunto / Garmin / whatever device she's using.

$&^#(@( fricking website - they need a real programmer!  I can't get it to work in either IE or Firefox no matter how many refreshes.

Keep us posted - unbelievable that she's gone that far as it is - but that's our Trixie!!

Should be hitting Devil's Thumb in the next 10 minutes. Race chat said it's 96 in the shade. Ouch.

Holy crap - 8:40's at 34 miles?  I thought she was going to go easy?  I guess if you're Trixie, 8:40's is pretty slow.

Way to be!

Um looks like the race just got a lot harder.

From 43 to 47, her pace was 25 min/mi. Funny part is...she held her position overall, and only dropped a couple spots to the girls. Assuming this is an uphill section. This is one. Awesome. Test. of. Fitness.  And will. She's completely gotta be at war right now....

C'mon, sista.

Trixie's pace at 34 miles was 15:19.  8:40 was hours and minutes.  I thought the same thing the first time I looked at the update.

Wow. Quick count on the site shows 101 of the ~450 that started either DNS'ed, or Dropped in the first half of the race. It's gotta be brutal!

C'mon, tidbit.

On the Western States 100 webcast, her status is "Dropped."

P.S.  The hot water still doesn't work in the guest shower.

The WS sites lists Trixie's status as 'dropped'. Earlier the status said 'on trail.'
I'm HOPING it means that she's been by that station and is still running. She arrived at Devil's Thumb (47.8 mi) at 5:45 PM, 12:45 in.

God, you scared me.

Drops is the WS website word for people quitting, or not continuing. There's a tab on their site called 'Drops', which is the roster of folks that DNS'ed or didn't get through a checkpoint, by choice or time.

Trix ain't dropped.

Yeah, it looks like that station had a whole section of people listed as "dropped"...all of them came in within about 10-20 minutes of each other...looks like a typo.

BTW, I finally got the site to work...just in time to go to bed.

Weird. I've got 'on trail', just refreshed.

Although it's a very, very long split.
