Ugh, didn't make my goal either.  I did not behave well the past week and I paid for it.  I am at 198.2 (up .4 from last week).  Oh well a new month to try again.  I am in for a goal of 195 by end of month.

First of the month and I'm taking NO prisoners on weight gain!!!! I'm down again to 186.8
From yesterday (188). Although I know I didn't eat nearly enough as I should have, nor did I eat really all that healthy. I had a sub for lunch, which left me hungry for the rest of the day, and then a cheese burger for dinner "7:30 pm"(+waffle fries and a soda). I did, however, drink plenty of water though... and after dinner I didn't eat again till just about an hour ago (protein shake) 11 am. So I'm going to take that walk I did yesterday and try to compound it, by doing another tonight +plus whatever I rack up this afternoon. As you can tell I'm in much better spirits. Thanx, for all the kind words everyone.

You are going to do awesome... I'm projecting/predicting you'll meet your goal. Just be diligent about what you put in your mouth. Be honest with yourself about your workout... And step outside your comfort zone just a little, to help keep your metabolism burning, and you should have no problems.

Yeah...I have been pretty diligent on the food front, but could always be better...I think the biggest thing for me is pushing the workouts a little bit more.  I have gotten to the point where I am not dying on my runs, but I think I need to feel a little more fatigued at the end.

I went to Chick-fil-A today for lunch, and I am pround to say that I only had a half of a waffle fry.  I had a wrap and the fruit cup.  I'm not sure I could defend myself from a waffle, but I managed to stay away from the waffle fry

Nice Job!  I am not sure I could defend myself against either if they were placed in front of me!

OK, my goal for September was 119.

Today, October 1, I weighed-in and I'm at 119.6.  I lost 1.6 lbs. since last week.  Well, at least I got to 119-something.

Goal for October is 117.

I just want to say this group has been great.  I started out at 126 at the beginning of July and I've lost about 5 pounds during this time.  Yippee!

Make sure you all eat enough and balanced.  If you are eating less than 1500cals you are too low.  A ration should be 50pro/30carb/20fat or 40/40/20 and no less than 30/50/80.

Doing great.

SORRY!! I did eat them plain though, no salt or other condiments. I was a little ashamed as it was the only thing possible to eat at the time... Though looking at the scale made me bounce right back.

For those of you that have done Triathlons...is there anything you'd wish you brought your first time that you didn't?  Or any advice on what to put in your transition?

What about Nutrition?  Is it needed for a Sprint?  I have some Gu packs, not sure when to take em.  Maybe one before the swim, and/or one toward the end of the (15m) bike?

My first tri is this sunday, that's the reason for the questions.

I brought a bottle of water (in addition to my other bike hydration) to dump on my feet to get the sand off, then used my towel on the ground to wipe them off a bit...made putting my shoes on much more comfortable Smile

Good idea, Katie.  I'll bring an extra one just in case.  Our swim is in a pool, but we have to walk outside to the transition, so I'm sure my feet will put up some junk out there.

I went and picked up my packet today, I am #20, 117 people total signed up as of right now.  They assigned numbers based on swim time estimates we turned in.  Yikes!  That means theres almost 100 people to pass me on the bike, heh.

What do you call it when you are excited, scared, anxious, nervous, pumped up....all at the same time?
