We're outside the door, about to head to a friend's to watch the LSU game in HD, when I see the ex and her friends walking up to the door. A couple girls we had been talking to most of the evening were there with us, and I mention that I see the ex. This girl waits pretty much until the second the ex is walking by to go in the bar, and just drapes herself around my neck until they pass. Awesomeness. Granted, they were young (early 20s) and I was playing wing man to a friend of mine, It was pretty cool, and definitley a win for me.

So there is this guy who I went biking with about a month ago, and he wants to meet up I have made it clear in the past  that I have NO interest in traveling for a date ( he lives way the frig out by where the patriots play).  In the past when I said that I was not interested he backed off.  I got sick....and I don't know how interested I really am but I CERTAINLY am not making any huge effort.

So he emails me to see wassup....if I have time - I tell him my schedule, that there is a conference and I MIGHT be able to have lunch or dinner wednesday.

He emails back dinner is better and is willing to split the travel.

wtf??? I am not willing to split the travel.  Why would I leave the city to go to some carp place in the burbs???

what part of I AM NOT WILLING TO COMMUTE TO A DATE does not get through?

so I told him if he needed someone who could commute then I am not interested in getting together.

which works out because I think my interest is pretty focused elsewhere anyway....

 

but please explain this, is he just STUPID???

bcart1991 - 2008-10-11 11:50 PM A brotha's trying to see if a sista will meet him halfway. If not, he may deem it worthy to travel all the way to meet a sista. It's up to him, based on your reaction. That's how I see it, no added BS.
