I'm sending picture messages to peoples phones throughout the day on Saturday (Chad and Rick so far). Let me know if you'd like me to send them to you (PM me if I don't have your number). Between Mirg and me, I'm sure you'll get some good updates throughout the day via texts, FB, or BT

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say how much all of your support has really meant to me. Thanks so much especially to Robin, who had to keep waiting up for me on those long rides, and to Dean who had to endure some grousing about picking this particular course as my first Ironman! But also to Brian, Kerry, Sally, Jerry, Tanya, Kara, Will, Elliot, Lisa x2, Melanie, Adela, Kevin, Jen, Josh, Paulette, Nick and everyone else who continued to send me inspirees throughout these past four months of tough training. You all mean a whole lot and I'll be thinking of you for 17 hours on Saturday!

You deserve it Kim. You've trained hard. Now you get to enjoy the fun part

Thanks everybody! I leave tomorrow, and I'll admit - I'm terrified!!! I'll need all the cheering I can get, and this thread is a great start!

Robin had some bad luck on her way up. Car broke down just south of Flag last night. Wish her good luck to get it all figured out today.

Edit: She just updated on Twitter that her car is staying in Flagstaff. I think she's renting a car now to get to St. George.

OH jeeeez Robin! Hope you make it there safely! What a bummer!!! 
Makes me think of the couple at IMAZ that were driving to AZ with their expensive tri bikes on the back, and they both fell off and just obliterated on the highway.  Can you imagine?
