I don't think the grades are quite that steep.  I would recommend checking out the course on Map My Ride.  It gives grades for the elevation of the course.

Crazy.  And then run 4 miles after all the hills on the bike.  Can't wait.

Yep.  over 100 feet gain per mile of run. 

I did beat that lady on the Scott bike, but only by a couple of mins.  I ran that big hill after the bike and I was very surprised to see her pull in the parking lot as I was getting my running shoes on.  Needless to say I was very impressed.  You had a good bike time as well and it's always good to ride the course in advance.  If it's not to cold tomorrow I'm going to do it again.

It can't get much worse.  I rode today in the NW burbs and it was terrible.  Wind and rain.  No fun!

Well, the forecast continues to look good for that day.  Too bad it won't warm the water up any faster. 

Guess I'll just have to set a swim PR to get out of it as quickly as possible.

I registered for the race but now unfortunately cannot do it.  Tried to cancel my B&B reservation this morning and was told I am on the hook for the room unless they can get another reservation to take my place.  They opened up the registration on their website if anyone is interested, looks really nice and I'm sorry I can't go....

Hell, I can do 58.  I think last year it was only 60 and that was nothing.

The water might have been 60 but it was in the high 40's air temp I'll be in my Endurance Nation Team Kit.

THAT is for certain.  Looks like it will be a flip flop this year, thankfully.

I'll probably have a grey Sugoi top on.
