I had some Garmin issues on the ride, but my run said 4.4 miles.

The first run of the Duathlon was around .25 - .3 long.

Not sure on the 4.4 section. I can tell you it was the hardest 4.4 run of my life.

My Garmin registerd the run at 4.47 and I agree that was the hardest run I have ever done. It would really be nice if they cut out the half mile out and back section close to the finish.

You must admit, however, that once clearing that last hill, the finish line was oh so sweet.  What a great race!

Well my very first Triathlon was a success. I managed a 2:05 finish and I must agree that was a very tough 4.4 miles! I will definitely be back for more next year.
