I want to say I think it's awesome you asked this question - yay for a healthy sex life!
Being dripped on isn't fun.  I think you have great suggestions fan/A/C and changing positions more often are great ideas.  Another suggestion might be to take a cool, not cold, shower ahead of time to bring down your body temp a bit.  Have fun!

Know what you mean..have the same problem here in the southern hemisphere summer...I sweat like a pig without the sex..which puts her off many a time...Frown

Just enjoy who you are and put some towels under the sheets to protect the mattress....

But there's nothing like sweaty sex!

Some serious suggestions:

Slow down!  It doesn't always have to be high intensity.
Try 'cowgirl' position, at least to start off.
Try playing with icecubes in foreplay.
Fans are definately a good idea.

And seriously, talk to your doctor.  Even with the referenced article about sweating sooner, this really doesn't sound natural or healthy.

Beyond that, good luck, and congrats (on many levels.)

Salt tab before, and an aero bottle mounted between the 'bars', filled with electrolytes!

Hello

Get her riding with the same intensity as you.

Try other styles where you are the dead fish and she works her buns extra hard.

Go outside

Take care of the itch yourself

Become a priest

Just trying to be funny.

Get a couple of "volunteers" to hand out cold sponges. They worked great in my last HIM. Wink

I blame the bright intense lights, those get pretty hot during production!

Maybe going by RPE isn't working for you.

You might want to try a heart rate monitor and set up a zone alarm to keep your HR down.

The towel idea is good, too, I use one when I'm on my trainer so I don't sweat all over my bike. However, your wife might object to having a towel over her face, especially if you start water-boarding her with your sweat.

Notice how the center wears a towel for the QB?  Tell her it is sensuous... as in senuous gonna be back there, you may as well have her wear a towel for you.

faded_memories - 2010-06-29 10:10 PM I'm pretty sure I sweat less now than I used to.

Fans?
Sew a bunch of ShamWows together to make some 'special sheets'?
Schedule the workout earlier in the day before it heats up too much?
Ice bath?

HTFU when you HTFU?

-eric

Hmmm, not sure about 'Fans' I only have a few and two of them are my mum and dad and not sure if I'd like them to watch, apart from that, how would it help anyway?

Oh, what about taking your socks off - that always helps.

Try another gear.  Your cadence might be to high.

Ok...sorry.  It's summer time...I think it may be more to do with the weather.  AC might help.

LMAO!!!!

Try

1-body glide
2- new saddle
3- slower transitions
4- forward angled seat post
5- no breast stroking only freestyle
