Shamar has to go. Seriously. He won't last. No way in heck I put up with that guy for more than 3 days. This early it does not really matter... but they have the numbers, and he needs to go. Strength becomes much less of a factor after the first couple challenges.

I see little Hantz has not changed. All kidding aside... he has to have some sort of personality disorder. He is not cut out for something like Survivor, he is a train wreck. No way I keep that guy around for any length of time.

I think Dawn will be fine.  The first week is the hardest on everyone while their bodies adjust to the conditions and lack of food/water.  I was understanding what she was saying because I feel the same way at work...I am not a jerk to anyone so it hurts me when people are jerks to me.  Makes sense.  Combine that with how her brain is reacting to the lack of food/water...boom...breakdown.

I would give Shamar the benefit of the doubt but he was being a royal jerk from the second they landed so he can't blame the lack of food!

I find the Fans crew to be so totally boring.  Maybe I've seen enough seasons in a row now to be bored with the predictability of their behavior.  Although, I do give credit to them for breaking up the 4. Otherwise - eh, not really interested in them.

Malcolm kills me.  He is totally mute around the tribe and then he returns to his old self in interviews. He has definitely changed his play a little.  The question is, will it help enough to push him over the edge? I think it's a good strategy.  LAY LOW.

Yeah, Brandon is up to his usual.  Actually totally crazy and then apologize immediately.  Sorry, apologizing will eventually not be good enough.  I love that Phillip called him crazy!

I am really bored with Phillip, although I will admit I don't hate him as strongly as I did last time around. He was so frustrating then.  Now, I think he's really gross but more tolerable?  Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a person. 

He was a jerk as soon as they got to camp. Ya, you want to give a guy like that a chance... but he is really out there. Sits around all day and claims they villainize him... says it's team effort, but then does absolutely nothing. That's fine if he wants to be alpha dog, but he does nothing to earn it.

For some reason I like Phillip more than last time.  Extra bit of crazy in there.....

Shamar - Strong, but any challenge requiring movement, the guy is toast at 300#.  Complete idiot at the social aspect, especially the preview for next week.

Reynold - how stupid to not realize people would notice something in his pocket, then cop to it in tribal.

Well they are making Philip more "comical" this time around. But I have no interest as I don't see any advantage in his "game play"... other than making it to final again and getting a bigger pay check than others. And there are moments, you think he is a good guy... but ya.

As far as Reynold... well, ya. But just like Malcolm... he said he was going to play it hand held it. He would have been a complete moron if he played it. But everyone knows you put valuables next to your valuables and keep them guessing. I big bulge in the pocket was pretty stupid.

Because they are unpredictable. They are an outcast for what ever reason... which means they are hard to get along with or hard to peg down.

But people have done this... all the time. Philip assured himself final 3 with his behavior. If they are an idiot.. .people want them because they can't win and they need the vote. But if they are really out there... then you simply can't trust them. Shamar and Brandon, you can't trust them at all. You have no idea what you will get 5 minutes from now.

Bipolar?  I mean, seriously.

Could Shamar be MORE abrasive?  Not a good representative of the USMC as far as I'm concerned.

He gave the impression his first season he was going to "act" the crazy/unlikable guy to get taken to the finals. 

I have my doubts now.  The guy seems to have some weird/strange social skills.

Shamar is not unpredictable, he's just being a jerk.  He has given his word to an alliance and did vote with them...didn't give away any vital info...targeted his rage at Reynold who wasn't even the subject of the vote (i.e. he didn't give away the vote).  So, yeah...he isn't a bad vote to keep around and his strength is useful right now...if he'd get off his lazy jerk butt and do some work around camp.

Well it's just personal perception... I'm not trying to mount a campaign against the guy.... but acting abnormal is not predictable. He is on a social game to win a million, and he is a total jerk. He is a USMC and does not really act like one. He is a strong healthy guy and is completely worthless. If he does not get his way, he throws a tantrum. He's volatile. Not a lot of strengths to give one confidence in keeping him around.

Chick, forget here name... she wants him around just for that... so she has her own game going on, that does not really serve her alliance or Shamar. BMX guy and Event Planner could easily get turned off from that.

Yep, and I really can not stand watching him run around in those pink underpants. Why would you think it is good game play to tell someone you are the CEO and they are middle management?! Ugh. I can't stand it. The last season he was on I kept waiting for him to get voted out and I'm going to be doing the same thing this time.

Agree with that.  Shamar is an overgrown child and when he doesn't get his way every body hears about it.  Dude, STFU and get to work.  Looks like he is the villain in the alliance that draws the fire from the others.  Not a bad play but it's a long time to spend with someone who is as much of a jerk as him but the other side has manic depressive Lil Hantz.  Psycho.  Maybe that's his play but he just isn't reliable in an alliance and constantly is a loose cannon.  You need to know that everyone in your alliance is voting with you that night and not have someone go crazy at tribal and change and possible screw everything up.

I think now that they've done so many favorites or all-stars they are having a hard time getting some good returning players to return.  It's a big time commitment.  And most of them realize they are targets from the get go...why risk getting booted first?

Shamar needs help. Seriously, not a criticism. I was told once, if one person says it, no need to worry...If 3 people say it, you might want to take a look at that... when 8 people say it... well, ya.

Pretty boring episode actually. Surprised they all stuck to their vote. Hope could have actually sent Edie home.

I don't know if that was the best performance EVER by Laura to convince Reynold/Eddie/Hope that they really were going to vote for Shamar...obviously we don't see what happens after she tells Reynold that she and Julia are TOTALLY voting for Shamar...but that was interesting.  She's either really smart and made an awesome move or it was a complete accident.  One or the other.

Reynold isn't dead yet.  He needs to leverage his idol and steal a few people from the bigger alliance...*someone* is always on the bottom.

I don't care if Shamar is just putting on a show for the game but he is a giant jerk.  People try to talk to him and he just shouts over them.  Just a bully that needs to go ASAP.  Was he really thinking of quitting or is it Shamar just being an attention wh0re? 

Good plan by the favorites tonight to split the vote and it worked out.
