mandy7741 - 2006-07-10 1:52 PM What is the easiest way to find a person to get to their logs? The only thing I know how to do is search through threads until I find one they have posted in, there has to be an easier way!

In your training log, click on the first button under "quick links" (right next to your calendar). There you can type (or paste) member names and then they'll pop up as your friends in your log. Clicking on their avatar will bring you to their logs, where you can post inspires.

I'm feeling sorry for my inspiree, because my inspires are um.....uninspired.

You don't have to kiss their butt. Just read their logs and give encouragement.

Hell, I told my GG to forget about it and I still am getting inspires from ladies who exchanged barbs with me during the contest. Just look at it as an opportunity to make a new friend!

Well that's good cause I don't do butt kissing anyway. I guess that I just don't know what to say, and as I am sooo booring, I'll pro'ly end up repeating myself!

Dang, this signature line thing is humiliating; however I rode further in June than I ever have in a month in my whole life and acheived 97% of my goal (14 hours and 33 minutes). Yippee!!!

Thanks all you participants.  My inspiree, benihana, is going to hear from me!

Hey...how come the team captain isn't using the sig line? Do we need to have an intervention?

She's not very inspiring either...assuming your final chart is the official inspire assignments.

I think a very few of the Goddesses may spell "team" with an "I".

When it becomes this difficult to get people to fulfill their obligations it's no longer worth it to press the issue. Hats off to the GGs who pledged, tried/succeeded in meeting their goals, and followed the contest results rules.

AFAIK it's the final version. I haven't gotten any inspires either.

Sore losers...

I have to say I'm getting nice IMs daily from lisa, so cudos to her for being one of the non-welshing Goddesses.

I think there's a rule that if you don't follow through when you lose, you're banned from further challenges.

Yeah ... just got back from vacation and logged into see that my GG has not followed through. A quick check shows that  a good amount of 'em have not changed their signature lines either. Kudos, though, to those that have - just shows that they are good sports.

That said, the challenge was still successful in that there are a lot of folks who spent more time in the saddle than they otherwise would have made time to do.

I credit the February run and March bike challenges with playing a big part in getting my rear in gear for St. A's + GC.

Granted, the challenges are all about getting off of your butt and training, but the terms should be repected. Especially considering all of the smack that was talked. Maybe for a month, marmadaddy could put "welcher" in front of the non-compliant GG's usernames. That'd be cool.

It all went downhill with the 19th Ammendment. First they get the right to vote, then they start working in the workforce, then they welch on the GG vs. TBI challenge. Next thing you know they will want equal pay for equal work. I knew they were welchers, those darn women.

I, too, will be happy to inspire anyone who feels like they are missing out.

However, I do NOT take responsibility for them not following through - that is just not cool.

I tend to agree with this the most overall.  However, it does water down the challenges if the people involved can't be trusted.  It is the honor system, and facing peer pressure to ignore that honor, I praise the GG that are keeping their bargain

On the flip side, I have gone out of my way to support some of the GG in other efforts...and it's disappointing that wasn't worth even the simplist action in response...to comply with the rules of a challenge.

nasiqo has been living up to her obligations.  Regardless of the inspires, your newfound quad mass and the smug feeling of victory should be enough.  Some would rather scurry under a rock than face the consequences of losing.  So be it.  To those of you who are carrying out your duties, kudos.  If you are feeling lonely cuz you are not getting inspires, simply hike up your jammers a notch and talk to your quads.  They did you well last month and you should thank them.  Maybe they will give you a twitch or two back.
