Ankle strap, use it lots.  Not every ride/run but I try to remember it as much as I can.  In fact, this reminds me I need to wash mine.  Ewwwww!

Same here, My wife asks me if I'm wearing it everytime I'm heading out for a run or a ride. We had a neighbor that ran and biked everyday and he wrecked his bike one day trying to avoid a duck. He landed on his head (no helmet) The people that saw him had no idea where he lived. It didn't prolong the time for him to get medical help, but it took them over four hours to find his wife. He was in a coma 2 weeks before he died.

I wear the ankle ID. I'ts desolate where I ride in rural Iowa and Illinois, and I'd like to know that someone other than the turkey buzzards could identify and help me if need be.  

Yes, I use the wrist one.  I typically train on my own, but even with friends, I wonder if I got hit by a car or crashed, would the heat of the moment make them forget my information. 

Plus there was plenty of room on the tag anyway.

No need - if you cannot communicate for yourself you will be still treated in emerg as a John Doe until they are able to contact your POA/emerg contact, who will then be able to give them your health info. Having your NOK info on a Road ID or other form of ID is enough (name and ph #). Too much info on the ID makes for difficult reading in a crisis.

I wear the wrist strap. I always tell my husband I`m wearing it in case I get lost someone can call him and he can come get me. It also contains 2 medications that I am allergic to. I think it is a good idea to have something with your details on it, if something should happen and you are unable to speak or communicate then people are able to notify your next of kin asap.
