I think you've made a great decision!   You'll gain so much experience and to graduate without the debt with such experience will be valuable down the road.  Please do drop in when you can and keep us informed of your going ons.

Haley I am very proud of you and the decision you have made. You will be greatly missed while you are away, but like you we can't be selfish. I'll be thinking about you and all the others that have served during the veterans day 5k.

Congratulations...a bold choice, that, as they usually do, will end up paying back much greater dividends than the sacrifices you think you are making now. 

And on the 'other reason'...thank you...Those guys need all the help they can get, from you there, and us back here...remember, regardless of what side is in charge politically, these grunts don't get to choose where they go, they are just living out their governments flights of fancy...they need you, and you are doing a good thing...and the fact that you chose it, means you are doing the right thing for you too...well done

 I just came back to BT only to hear you are leaving...

I am so proud of your decision to serve though. It is not a easy decision to make in difficult times and the country needs people like you to stand up and help when things are not easy. I served 6 1/2 years as an HM 8404  4 1/2 of which were in the infantry with the First Marine Division (Kilo 3/5, STA 3/5, & HQBN MP Co.). My time in the service was some of the best and worst times of my life all at the same time but I would never trade it for anything.

I decided to leave the medical field when I was done serving, but the experience has gotten me to we here I am today. In less than a year you will be a better and stronger person than you ever thought possible. The army will change you forever but I can guarantee you that you will never want to trade the experience for anything and you will make friends that will stick with you for life.

From a highly motivated Devil Doc to a brand new army dogie Semper Fi and Ooh-Ra Comet!
