mr2tony - 2008-06-13 2:25 PM Anybody know FOR SURE if shirtless is illegal in HIMs?

you mean USAT rules?

Well ... yes and if they really enforce USAT rules for guys that finish in the 7-hour range?

I just read the rule book cover to cover last week and took the test to become an official.  It states nowhere in there that males cannot be barechested (even in the public nudity section.  So as far as USAT goes, and you wear a race belt for your number - I don't think it is an issue.  Race directors are allowed to add their own rules, as long as they do not conflict with USAT's, so the official word is up to them.

Thanks JD!!! I may go with the shorts and not top instead of the onesy then.

What about on the bike?

Jersey. Or maybe topless again. It's supposed to be killer hot out there!

Jesus tony you sound like a chick trying on outfits for a night on the town.

Be a man. Run in a gladiator outfit and sandals.

Highs are only gonna be in the high 80s... I guess that's warm, but not like 100 degrees or anything.

If I'm manly enough to run as The King, you're manly enough for a gladiator. Ninja is too easy. It was made for ease of movement. But yes, it fits nicely with the general ... uh ... culture.

Spiderman came in the top 100 in the Honolulu Marathon in '04 ...

From my first-ever triathlon. They warned us to wear shoes of some sort because transition was in a parking lot and there apparently was broken glass all over the place. Nice. Anyway I figured if I was wearing shoes I might as well grab a towel to sit on in transition. Why I didn't leave the towel in transition I'll never know.

x2

Day 3 of everybody's favorite game show.... "What will Tony Wear!"

Dude... It is not rocket science... It is not a fashion show... Just wear what you are most comfortable in and go.

Don't go shirtless cause then you got a nice chance of getting completely burnt/fried.

The onesy is not bad at all. Your o-face, on the other hand, needs some working on.

It is a wonderful shot. At least you're in a onesie.

Thanks everybody. I'll stop being a girl and go with the onesy. My colleague here keeps saying `Don't call it a onesy! That's so gross!'
