I updated the spreadsheet with my progress thus far.  I'm right on track for my goal.  The month is 13% done and I'm at 13.3% completion of my goal.

Good for you!

I wogged today, so I'm on track with my goal too.

Back from my 5K, E.V.I.L Running Reapers, and I brought home some hardware -- Grand Masters!  I'm happy, but it's not quite as exciting as it sounds.  It was a local race, and there just aren't that many of us "senior" ladies out there running competitively any more.  I beat my last 5K time by over a minute, but even that is squishy because that last 5K was HOT (can you say August in Florida?).  Anyway, I'm pleased.

Hardware is always nice!  Congrats!

Yay for running and updating! And especially for "cheering" -- I thought I heard a virtual yell or two during my race. Thanks!

It is a spectacular fall morning here today.  Sunny and clear skies.  I shall head out to enjoy it in a few, after the kidlets get on the bus.

Seeing as hunting season opened up this weekend, I shall be wearing bright orange so I don't get shot.  (I just moved to the flippin' middle of nowhere, really, in the middle of a state forest).  I do enjoy orange so it's not all bad!   I might try to bring my camera with me and click a few pic's.  We shall see.

Then, I shall go get some gas so I can mow my lawn.  Ooooo, exciting, huh?

Yes but it is YOUR lawn and that is exciting!  Have a great run.  Maybe you should sing along with your ipod....let the hunters know you are out there!

Today I shall clean, wash & wax my car.  My friend is taking it to auction this week ;(  Kinda sad....it is my favorite car by far, my mid-life crisis convertible but it is one car too many right now and handles horribly in the snow.  Maybe once the last kid is almost done with college I will buy another 'vertible......

Had a nice run today.  Took a different route.  It wasn't as pretty.  Lots of cows and cornfields.  Not so much forest but it was flater.  I think I like the hilly route better.

Now I have to scrub my kitchen floor and scrub my bathroom.  I don't want too.  Anyone want to volunteer to come and do it for me????

Morning team!  Sounds like we had some great runs and races this weekend.  I got mine in yesterday morning - about 5.9  miles (estimated since Garmin died partway through the run).  It was a little rough and I did more walking than usual but at least I got it done!

The weather here has really turned fall-like and pretty quick too.  My daughter's XC meet on Saturday morning was just miserable.  Lots of clouds, really windy and cold.  At least it didn't rain on them.  I like the cooler weather but just wish it would come on a little more gradually.

Have a great day!
Janet

Happy Monday, team! Congrats on all you racers this past weekend. I love fall races. Best time of the year!

I'll be heading out on a run this evening after work. And looks like I'll be running most days this week. Yay!

I checked my total so far, and was feeling pretty good about it...18% to my goal!! Whooo hooo!!!

Then I calculated how far into the month we are, and that number is 16%. Boooo...not so smug there anymore. But, I'm still ahead of pace at least.

No run today, but should get in an 8 mile hilly run tomorrow evening.

Got my lawn mowed.  My new boots gave me blisters.  Boo.  Hopefully it won't bother me while running.  That would be a total bummer!  Really cute work boots but must they give blisters?  Maybe I need some better socks.

Good idea - less gunfire around cows and cornfields...
