WTF!  I bought beer on the way home after driving 500 miles today.  

Hope there is Shiner left to share by Sunday, a case can disappear pretty quick.  Maybe I will leave a few Bud Lights for Y'all. (holy crap I typed Y'all, been in TX too long ~16 years)

You say that until you realize she then brought the bag of ingrediants into the office and said here, go make them.    We ended up making them together though.  Then, since you all think I am so bad with the "snacks", there was leftover oreo crumbs and melted chocolate so she dug out some ice cream and topped it with the leftovers.  I just licked the spoons/bowl that held the melted chocolate....

So cute!  I wish my dog would swim like that... that whole thing about all golden retrievers loving water is not true.  Skye won't go in water unless you throw a toy in and then she just runs out to "save" her toy and runs back out of the water.

Just a quick check in before dinner and relaxation post-race...but I wanted to let everyone know that the Houston folks had a nice day for racing and some great performances... look at the greatness all the ladies had in the 500 meter swim today:

Betsy: 8:27
Keri: 7:30
Nik: 5:11
Tif: 4:52

...alas, I think all of the ladies' waves were 5 minutes off...so our swim times should be +5:00 from what is posted. Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome to claim a :58/100 pace! Nonetheless, still a good time out there.

Ok, so I haven't gotten to the relaxing part of the evening yet. I wanted to get the RR taken care of since tomorrow's going to be hectic from the get-go (painting a bedroom....whooo!).

It was great seeing all our local / semi local tri buddies at the race today.  Some of the folks had really solid races - great job everyone!

I got to race my new 2011 Felt B14 bike, I really enjoyed the bike.  The rest of the race wasn't my best, on to the next one.

I don't have the a picture on this computer, but the new ride looks similar to this 2010 bike.
