Extreme Veteran  454   Denver CO |  Subject: RE: BEfore & after photosI've always been active but also a big emotional eater and had been kidding myself that my activity level was enough to justify how much I ate/drank. I think my heaviest was a few pounds over 150. I got serious about competing and have gotten down to around 140. I'd like to be solidly under 135, I am still working on it! Here is a BEFORE of me (on the left) after the 2006 Boilermaker 15k with my sister
and here is me at this year's Twin Cities Marathon
And at the Des Moines Marathon. I am still working on getting lighter as I get more competitive and serious about the distance running! |

Two days after my birthday I started walking and walking and walking, nothing more. I did a sprint the end of September and weigh in at 220 now. Love the site and looking forward to my first full season of triathlons.

Unfortunately I don't have very many pictures of me. I am usually the one taking the pictures. The first is from Nov 2005 and about 190lbs. My now picture is from June with my brand new niece at about 175lbs! I guess I need to get some better now pictures. I still have more to go but hope to be able to post them sooner rather than later! I have only been training for triathlons since October and two years ago was a couch potato. I now love to exercise and cannot wait for my first triathlon in July. It will be the NJ State Sprint!
